Refuse to pick up trash for a week and refused to bring an extra can
Alaska waste picks up my trash weekly in Anchorage .Yhey have rules to have the can out of the curb by 6:00 a.m. yesterday January 16th my can was placed at the curb at my residence inn Anchorage it was not emptied I got no notice of any delay when nobody had picked it up by 4:00 p.m. I called the office and there was a recording saying that they had stopped all pick up on my route because of the weather and they would pick it up again on a Friday one week away I have a full can I have no way to store garbage they make me wait a week and where am I supposed to put my garbage for a week I'm a senior citizen I don't have the ability to just go get another can they did not offer another can in fact nobody even answered the phone at the office and it was obvious they all went home now there are cans all over my Street full of garbage and it's blowing all over the road they don't care they don't care about anything they don't care about their customers other places do a makeup day the following business day but no Alaska waste just says sorry we're not going to do it they have the worst customer service anywhere.
I called to request an extra can for this week and they refused!! Told me to buy a can myself to store trash that they failed to pick up. Terrible service.
