Premium pay for zero service

Flown from bru over saw to ssh, and return. Bags damaged and items lost, worst cs ever, no proper compensation up until today.

Before travel I reached out by phone to customer service having some extra questions. I was told to e-mail. In that mail I was told they tried to call me - yet never received a call nor an answer.

Flights were relatively on time. I had made premium reservations to have extra legroom - which I am glad for I did as the legspace is small. For the with premium included sandwich service, expect to have the same kind of cheese sandwich on all flights, no variety.

On return in BRU I found my bagage damaged, opened, taped by airport services, yet items dropping as soon as I took it of the carrousel, items were missing. Filed a report at lost&found, receiving a file number having to report on AJet's website. Each time having filled in all information, I got the message that "an error occured, please try again." I finally got through after 7 days. The compensation offered is about 8% of my total loss. At first I got a message they would make a new offer and were asking extra info. The last message that it is not possible to make a new compensation, and I was too late informing about the lost items - which have to be done within 7 days. Which I did. No more replies since.

Worst flight company ever

Worst flight company ever. We paid for the 32kg checked in luggage and did not use that. However, we had 1 trolley and 1 backpack together weighing 18kg so we had to pay 50 euro extra for the baggage.

*AJet is an extremely poor and unprofessional airline.*
On November 20th, my flight was delayed by over 3 hours, which caused me to *miss my connecting flight to Tehran*.
Worst of all, *I received absolutely no help or support from AJet* – no information, no compensation, and no responsibility taken.

I got a case and designer clothes destroyed, luxury case broken, clothes covered with black oil, looks like machine oil. I contacted them numerous time. They never took any steps to protect me as a customer. I was flying with economy class and flights were not cheap.

I recently flew with AJet on flight…

I recently flew with AJet on flight VF276 from Moscow (VKO) to Istanbul (SAW) on November 17, 2025. The flight departed at 02:40 and arrived on time after a smooth 4-hour journey. I was very impressed with the experience.
The cabin crew, especially the flight attendants, were exceptionally polite, attentive, and friendly. They created a very warm atmosphere on board, always smiling and ready to help passengers. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the whole flight felt calm and well-organized.
Thank you to the entire AJet crew for making this early-morning flight so pleasant. I will gladly fly with AJet again!

Dear AJet Customer Relations,

Dear AJet Customer Relations,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment my family and I experienced on our recent journey from Dubai–Istanbul–Stockholm. We were a family of six passengers, including two children, one of whom has medical conditions that require us to keep essential items in an additional carry-on bag for safety reasons.
Before boarding the Istanbul–Stockholm flight, we checked in all our luggage except for one carry-on bag, which we are fully entitled to bring onboard. However, as we were entering the aircraft, a passenger ahead of us blocked the aisle and refused to move until cabin crew placed all her oversized bags in the overhead compartments. This process took a long time, and she refused to allow her bags to be checked in despite the limited space.
By the time we reached our seats, the overhead bins were completely full. We could not even store a small bag. The cabin crew approached us and immediately began shouting, telling us to hurry because the flight was delayed. We calmly explained that we needed to place our single carry-on bag overhead due to its importance for our child’s medical needs.
Instead of offering any understanding or assistance, the staff were impatient, dismissive, and repeatedly told us that the bag must be checked in. When we expressed the necessity of keeping it with us, we were threatened and told that if we did not hand over the bag, our entire family would be removed from the aircraft immediately with security.
This treatment was deeply disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. We were ultimately forced to check in our hand luggage—despite being fully entitled to at least six carry-on bags as six passengers. We should not have to suffer the consequences of improper baggage handling and poor management of overhead space caused before we even boarded.
We did not purchase tickets to be mistreated, threatened, or humiliated as a family. What happened was unjust and caused significant stress to all of us, especially our children. We request that AJet investigates this incident thoroughly and ensures that appropriate measures are taken. We also expect compensation and a formal acknowledgment of the wrongdoing in this situation.

Unjust €50 Charge by Ajet Staff at Stansted Airport – A Clear Case of Fraud

We are a family of four returning from the UK to Istanbul. At Stansted Airport, the Ajet staff — a man and a woman responsible for the 15:50 London–Istanbul flight — unjustly charged us €50 for one of our suitcases. I am attaching photos of the bags as evidence.
What they did is nothing short of fraud and a blatant abuse of authority.
Naturally, we filed an objection. Once they respond, I will also share their reply and whether they return our money.

Worst airline to fly with

Worst airline to fly with
From the ticket information to the check in asking me to do self transfer in Ankara
To the fact that you can’t pay with your phone for water they need cash or physical card.
To the prices on the menu a small sandwich priced at €10 while a better one is for €5 at Euro wing
The airplane is awful 5 hours flight no screens. Couldn’t deal with an angry shouty passenger that disrupted the plane, scared everyone and delayed it

Know Your Rights

AJet shows a consistent disregard for passengers’ rights under EU Regulation 261/2004. My flight from Berlin to Sabiha Gökçen was delayed, causing me to miss my connection, yet the airline denied compensation despite a clear legal entitlement. They offered an unreasonable rebooking with an arrival with more than 8 hours of delay instead of providing proper assistance or information about my rights.

Anyone flying with AJet from or to the EU should know that you are protected by EU law — if your flight is delayed more than three hours or cancelled, you may be entitled to up to €400 in compensation. Don’t accept generic rejections or unsubstantiated “extraordinary circumstances” claims. File your claim directly with the airline, and if they refuse, escalate it to the national enforcement body of the EU country where your flight departed, or use verified services like Flightright or AirHelp. Know your rights and insist on them.

Stay Away

Stay Away. At all costs. I'd rather catch the plague than a flight with these mutants. Worst company of all time. Entire staff team at Stansted airport, lead by an absolute goblin of a woman, have the combined IQ of a table. Do not give these people money. Do not waste your time, and energy. Aged 10 years in 1 day because of these sorry excuses of human beings.

7 HOUR DELAY

DO NOT BOOK WITH AJET. The flight we took booked by AJet was from Antalya-Istanbul-Stansted. AJet booked our connecting flight, and upon arrival in Istanbul we were told we “missed” our boarding connection even though they were booked together by the airline…
We were then rebooked onto the a next flight which was due to depart 7 HOURS LATER! Staff were exceptionally rude and if you are an English speaker good luck because you will not understand a thing and be left even more confused. Staff offered us one free meal from a list and told us no compensation would be allowed. This just highlights the poor coordination on Ajets flights which could have been avoidable. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS AIRLINE. PASSENGERS BE CAUTIOUS.

Poor organization and chronic delays…

Poor organization and chronic delays are baked into their business model. They have the audacity to charge full-service airline prices for flights with impossible connection times, creating a predictable cycle of missed flights and stranded passengers. The fact that they treat providing hotel rooms as a standard operating procedure, rather than fixing the root cause, shows a complete disregard for customer time and convenience. Avoid this airline if you have a connecting flight.

The worst airline I have ever experienced.
I had a very unpleasant experience, especially with the boarding staff. The way they treat customers is disrespectful and irritating. I am certain that I will never book with this airline again, even if the ticket were free.

Forced us to pay for baggage when travelling from Almaty to London, even though it said free luggage was included. Then intentionally charged us extra and lied about the price. Extremely dishonest, rude and unprofessional.

Also we had two flights, neither which food was provided

I would like to share my experience…

I would like to share my experience traveling with Ajet Airlines.
We were a group of 12 tourists flying from Tehran to Istanbul. Unfortunately, one of our companions was disabled. The airline staff treated us very poorly and did not cooperate with us at all. From the check-in officer to the flight attendants, their behavior was cold, unfriendly, and impolite. My sister had to pack and carry the weehlchair herself, it was really heavy!!!

They seated our disabled companion in row 8, and expected her to stand up from her wheelchair and move to a window seat by herself! This behavior was inhumane and shameful. She was also boarded and deboarded last, which was extremely difficult and exhausting given her condition and age.

We also had two small children with us. During the night flight, we asked for blankets, but they rudely said they didn’t have any — even though they provided blankets to their Turkish passengers.

We will never travel with this airline again, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience such unacceptable and disrespectful treatment.
