Company is a Scam! Airfaretravel.us took $3,400.00+…
Airfaretravel.us took $3,400.00+ dollars from me on October 13, 2026. The agent, Alex, who represented that he was actually an agent from Delta airlines told me he was offering a 20% discount to Diamond Medallion members and the $3,400 fee would guarantee me an upgrade for two people to Delta One, Row 8. He told me the seats were guaranteed and they would be assigned to me on October 29, 2026 (my flight to Japan was scheduled fro Monday November 2nd). On October 29th , I contacted Delta and questioned why my seats were not upgraded and Delta informed me that I had been scammed. As a Delta Diamond Medallion member, no third party is needed to change seats or obtain upgrades nor do they collect any additional monies. Alex told me my monies would be refunded which was also another misrepresntation. Alex then had another person contact me claiming he had the seats for me but now required dates of births. Reluctantly, I provided them and Alex and his team immedaitley attempted to hack into my Delta account. I have since cancelled my credit card and changed my passwords and have disputed the $3400 charge with Amex. Further research shows this Company is unethical and not accredited. According to the BBB, other persons have complained that they were also promised refunds but never received them. Airfaretravel.us is a SCAM. Company is not legitimate and unethical.
