My Aimicat stopped working since August 2023 and I’ve been trying to get Aimicat to resolve the issue – well it took them 2 months to reply to my first email and since then, their support and replies have been very patchy. They finally told me in last month (Jan 2024) that they don’t make the parts for my model anymore and so I HAVE TO buy their upgrade kit which costs £120. My machine is still under warranty so they should be covering the cost but I’m still yet to receive a reply! I don't recommend anyone to buy this machine. Their customer service is a joke.

I backed this project on Indiegogo in November 2020 and have still not received the product even though they have now launched a website and are selling a newer model.

The communication with this company has been abysmal; lies, delays, taking months to reply to emails, blaming it on their courrier and saying it’s not their fault but they are willing to do something nonetheless, when in reality and from a legal perspective it is their responsibility if a customer has paid for something and not received it.

I have now been told I will get one in 4 months time but I highly doubt it so have taken the necessary steps to report this fraudulent company.

One only needs to read the numerous reviews online to see just how appalling they are.

My advice is to steer clear completely.

Where to begin… I recived my Aimicat dirty. There was cat feces and urin on my „brand new“ Aimicat. Scratches all around and the Plugin of the powercord couldnt be attached to the Aimicat because the part on it was jammend inside (I fixed it myself with a tweezer). I contacted the costumer Service immediately and this was the answer:

„Sorry for that. We will forward this to the manufacturer. It seems they just packaged a globe test sample in the machine.“

As an solution they offered me some free filter.

I wanted to love it, but there is nothing but the good look about it. I couldnt find a litter wich worked. If its to fine it will get in the inner parts of the globe. If its to gritty the Aimicat will dump the whole litter. The globe is to small to fit my 9lbs cat comfortable. The didnt liked it at all. So a total waste of money. I don’t even want to resell it to someone else, because I think its so bad! The worst Part is I got two of them because I took the bundle.

Waited nearly 2 years for a product they showed in videos as working. Excuse after excuse came but eventually something came. It didn't last 6 weeks and the only help Aimicat have offered is to replace a sensor but I'd have to do the electronics work. I can't do this and it seems many others have had the same experience. Now the heap of junk is in the bin and I have replaced it with a known and trusted brand instead.
