I allready wrote this on reddit but I want to bring some attention to this, because AIM got big partnerships and rarely some critical reviews.
My disappointment with AIM Controller is hard to put into words.
I used a Scuf Impact for seven years, and nothing ever broke. The only thing that happened was the paint peeling off. Not a single paddle had to be replaced, and I even had spare paddles included.
I recently switched to AIM Controller, which initially looked very promising and is heavily promoted by many influencers. Unfortunately, I let myself be influenced, because it turned out to be the biggest disappointment I could have imagined.
Not only did shipping take two months, but when I asked after one month whether premium shipping could be added because the wait was too long for me, that request was denied. I was told that the controller was already in the production queue. At that point, I could still somewhat understand this, since from the outside you don’t really know how their production planning is structured. Still, that was the first moment where I became dissatisfied. If only it had stopped there.
After two months, I finally received the controller and was initially quite happy. The front panels, meaning the Snap Panel prints and my own logo, are very high quality. I also really like the sticks and the extra sticks that were included. And the TMR system is an absolute game changer. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
I’ve owned the controller for about six months now. I played actively for roughly three months and constantly noticed that the controller felt slightly uncomfortable in my right hand. I then checked what could be causing this and realized that, for some reason, the magnets don’t sit properly in their slots. This forced me to push the Snap Panel down with force so it would align correctly with the controller. Otherwise, it left a noticeable pressure mark in my hand, which was extremely annoying while playing.
Shortly after that, one of my paddles started to feel strange. I didn’t think much of it and kept playing—until it snapped. I didn’t even press hard. Whether this is an intended breaking point or not is debatable, but it definitely functioned as one. After less than three months, my first paddle broke.
Since the controller was still very new at that point, I tried to get a replacement or at least a refund for the paddle. I was then informed that the paddles are covered by warranty, but shipping is not. Interestingly, the paddles cost €15—and shipping also costs €15. The result: no new paddles for me.
I also have a friend who owned an AIM Controller as well, where multiple buttons stopped working. He is now on his third AIM Controller, although he switched to Xbox, and it seems he’s had better luck with build quality there.
Unfortunately, that still wasn’t the end. When I later removed the Snap Panels to see whether I wanted to order a new design, I noticed that the magnets had come loose from their mounts inside the Snap Panels. This means the magnets can no longer be separated properly, and the panels are currently held in place by just a single magnet that is still intact.
And just now, another paddle broke.
I’m incredibly angry. I don’t throw my controllers around. I treat them extremely well and deep-clean them regularly. I used my Scuf for seven years, my King Controller before that for three years, and despite owning multiple PlayStation 4 controllers and some from other consoles, I have never experienced issues with build quality like this.
After six months of ownership, I can clearly say that I’ve never experienced this many build quality issues with a controller.
I think the support is terrible. The logo application, the sticks—both the TMR system and stick heights and materials—the prints, and the digital buttons are good. I’m satisfied with those. But the rest is so incredibly bad that I can confidently say I will never buy an AIM Controller again.
This is simply my experience. I’m angry because I refuse to buy replacement paddles now and have to re-adjust my grip while playing yet again. It’s just frustrating.
I hope I got to provide a solid bigger picture. Have a good one.

Control is nice. That being said, you may get an import fee from fedex as the product ships
From the EU.

The worst controller i’ve ever bought, don’t even think about buying it just instantly skip to the next site, first of all waited 2.5 months for it to be here , then finally arrives the paddles work only half of the time, i tried opening the cap of the paddles but it does not even open because of the cheap quality shit they use, i asked for my money back multiple times, did not get any response.
DON’T BUY HERE.

I saw this company being sponsored on YouTube by a channel that is well trusted so I thought I'd give it a go. However I sadly cannot recommend them, especially if based in the UK.
Significant delays; they advise 21 days, but this shipped an additional 17 days late with little to no communication or updates even after chasing. There was no receipt of the order sent to my email, only after me chasing them to see if I was scammed did they provide this.
Considering the premium price, I would have thought that at minimum VAT was included in the cost, but it isn't. So immediately add 20%+ onto the final cost (they addressed this by saying it's stated in the FAQs but it was not obvious at the checkout). On top of that if you are in the UK, you will have to pay any import duties as well as a courier fee, so add a total of around 25% approx to the total.
The quality of the product does seem good, however upon my testing there is already a small amount of stick drift on L3, which given the cost and the fact I ordered the new TMR joysticks to get rid of that EXACT problem, I can't quite believe it. I will grant it was minimal and I will continue testing, but given that's it's brand new there should be 0.
I also believe the 'smart bumpers' are only labelled as being R1 & L1 on the site, but this actually covers R2 & L2 as well just as an fyi as I was confused when the triggers turned up as toggles, without any loose pressure/sponginess that I was used to.
Overall, can't recommend when the competition like Scuf and others have better communication, just as good if not a higher quality product, for the same or lower price. Taxes included, faster delivery and better overall experience. Such as shame as I would love to have a larger competitor to Scuf but it's not here, not yet at least.
*Update to their response*
An apology with no communication on receipt of purchase, nor during the peak season explaining this, is worth nothing other than stress over being scammed.
Regarding the VAT, you 'explained' that no VAT included in the cost was hidden in your T&C's. That doesn't excuse not accounting for it in your cost, what other items online do you buy that doesn't even have VAT accounted for? None.
The TMR only start having 0 drift at 0.05 deadzone in most games, this is fine so long as they stay this way, but they started off working fine on 0, not even 2 weeks in and they require 0.05. I will keep an eye on the trajectory.
The Active triggers are now sticking, causing L2 and R2 to stay pressed down after I've already let go of my finger. Hardly call this acceptable for a product costing nearly £300.
Do not buy from them until they show huge signs of improvement.

Experienced a delay in when my controller would arrive and was disappointed. Emailed support and they gave me a free charging cable and case as compensation for the delay. Also very nice support.

Don't buy! This is a big mess, as proof, look at the google reviews... hidden... why? On Trustpilot 2.8 stars speaks for itself

Had issues since day one. Did not want to honor me a refund. Wants me to send it back for a second time for repair. Even though they just “ repaired it “ . Once it arrived , had the same issues as before. Had to wait 4 weeks for a simple L2 repair sticking. Which was never fixed.
I contacted them immediately after receiving the “ repaired” device. They informed me due to busy new orders coming in they cannot put my controller in front because they want to get the new orders done first. Meaning another 4 week wait.
These guys dont care about their crappy material controllers . They have a hidden no return policy. They use this to their advantage to run this loop on people.
HORRIBLE customer service. Real cheap controllers. Dont make the mistake and buy from this SCAM company.

⭐☆☆☆☆ — Returned in Worse Condition Than Sent
I would strongly advise against doing business with this company if you value accountability, transparency, and basic quality control.
I was originally sent a controller that did not function properly out of the box. That alone should have triggered urgency and meaningful support. Instead, what followed was a prolonged, frustrating, and dismissive repair process marked by shifting explanations, poor communication, and a complete lack of ownership.
Now, after finally receiving my controller back, the situation has somehow gotten worse.
Not only was it returned missing components (my aim sticks were not included), but the R2 button—specifically the smart bumper functionality—is now more broken than it was before the repair. I have video proof of this. The controller was sent in defective and returned to me in a worse condition.
At no point did anyone meaningfully acknowledge responsibility for the original defect, nor was there any attempt at service recovery, goodwill remediation, or transparency. I was repeatedly told timelines were “estimates,” not guarantees—language that seems designed to shield the company rather than serve the customer.
To make matters worse, my controller was routed internationally without prior disclosure or consent after I shipped it domestically. This was only explained after the fact.
When I requested escalation, I was told there was no one else to speak to—and that no compensation, acknowledgment, or corrective gesture would be offered.
This company hides behind policy instead of standing behind their product.
If you receive a working controller, you may be fine. But if something goes wrong, do not expect accountability, empathy, or competent resolution. What you will get instead is deflection, rigidity, and scripted responses.
This review reflects the full experience: service, communication, quality control, and a refusal to take responsibility.
And what makes it even worse, they replied to my original review, and I had already made the additional complaint that my returned controller was still broken. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I needed something repaired and the service team was insanely responsive and helpful! Will definitely be getting another and I recommend AIM to everyone I game with!

I wasn’t expecting such a big upgrade, but Aim Controllers completely changed how my PS5 games feel. The controller is comfortable, solid, and incredibly reliable. Every button press is instant, and the paddles are a game-changer for movement and reactions. It feels custom-made and premium in every way. I’ve had zero problems with it, and it performs perfectly every time I play. Easily one of the best gaming purchases I’ve made.
