When I was planned to move my Pet a beautiful beagle born in India and soon to become a Danish , I was looking for options for getting a pet insurance for the first time. I had a promising meeting with Sarah Brandes from Agria who explained me really well and assisted me in the process of getting an Insurance and I can tell you I could never get a better insurance in Denmark. I am so happy with the overall experience and do recommend for hassle free claims and great onboarding experience.

Took out insurance on my new puppy and attempted to claim on Agria insurance for a hospital visit. The claim was unsuccessful as the illness was deemed to have started before the insurance policy would activate. We attempted on several occasions to take out the policy weeks before, and the hospital visit proved there was no illness...but okay, insurance providers will deny as much as possible, right?
I then receive information that Agria will terminate the policy AND force this disclosure to other providers should I attempt to find a new provider.
Frankly, this behaviour is not only unprofessional but morally disgusting. We are talking about the health of a small dog over a UTI that is now clear.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
REPONSE:-
If we're going to get into micro-timings around my dog's illness, perhaps we should discuss the 2 weeks of dodged communication from your representative in trying to set up our insurance, *long* before any symptoms arose. Not to mention that a pet showing "symptoms" may not allude to an illness at all.
Your "applicable terms" are to go full scorched-earth on failed claims; cancelling insurance and blacklisting applicants against other insurance providers. Not to mention we were not contacted about the claim at any point...unless I suppose you count one lengthy, aggressive email after the fact. You should probably evaluate working for a company willing to prevent an animal from receiving health insurance for the rest of its life.

My cat Hugo had a situation and the bill was 2000 dkk.
They only paid 600 of it! so 1200 I had to pay and from the rest of the amount they paid 90%! and again I had to pay 10%!
Agria is the most expensive one, but don't cover much of the expenses!
I am happy I switched to Tryg, for which you have to pay 800 yourself and they cover the rest.
They are also cheaper.
Don't go with agria, go for other insurances! I am gonna tell the breeder from whom I got my cat, not to suggest Agria to buyers.

I have been a loyal customer of this pet insurance company for years now, and I honestly have never been more disappointed with a company. The way they handle claims is atrocious. They are completely unprofessional and do not care about their customers. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Ich bin seit mehreren Jahren bei diesem Unternehmen "versichert" und war noch nie so enttäuscht wie jetzt. Die Art und Weise, wie sie Schadensersatzansprüche bearbeiten und mit Claims umgehen, ist grauenhaft und erschreckend. Sie sind völlig unprofessionell und kümmern sich nicht um ihre Kunden. Ich würde dieses Unternehmen niemandem weiterempfehlen!

The outcome of the case was very disappointing. I highly doubt that a reopening of the case will lead to a different outcome.

Not a serrios ensurance company!!! I have ensured one of my dogs with Agria Dyre Forsirking.The dog was helty and ok in the moment the ensurance has been made. In 2021 january he was have a crossband operation to one of his leg, after 4 mounts the other leg has been operated.the ensurance didn’t cover nothing because the ensurance didnt have one year sice it has been made when the dog has the problem. After one year from the last operation the dog has have a problem with the menisk. This time the ensurance didnt cover again because they sey the dog problem has been apear less then one uear from the last operation 😡.( i specific her that one doctor has seen the dog and the problem has come after one year from last)so no cover again more of that i have been call by a lady wich take care of the our case and she advice me that my dog will not be cover for legs problem or displasia any more because he was have to meny problems in the last time 😡. Because Agria ensurance i lost a lot of money and the right of my dog to be treat cover by ensurace to other company👎👎👎i really not recomand them… surch another company !!!!
