I asked them to cancel my subscription and they said they will cancel it and refund me the money they paid. I am hoping to get the refund and have my subscription canceled.
Either it's a scam or they have the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Borderline harassment
AGadgetPlace sent me so many emails and messages "explaining" that I had to take this review down before they could process the return of any money they had removed from my account that I had to block them for some peace. I felt harassed and targeted for weeks after the experience. Now, many months later they are trying to make out that this review is fake in order to make Trustpilot remove it. I stand by my experience with this "business". I believe this to be a scam. I did not sign up for the service. I was doing a survey for a mystery box from Le Creuset and suddenly I had a charge from The Gadget Place and an email from this company/website and another website (gojitoys). Both told me I had an existing account with them that was up for renewal in a few days and that the charge was in Euros. Both are apparently based in Cyprus.
It was difficult to access cancellation on both sites and took 2 days to respond and say they would cancel my subscription. But the cancellation from The Gadget Place isnt immediate according to their emails. Their correspondence says it will only end in August and yet a fee is still meant to be charged before then. Luckily they have only taken a small amount so far and then reversed it and then charged it again. I have already reported both companies to my banks fraud division in case. No firther charges occured but I was never reimbursed and I continue to receive daily emails asking me to take this review down - to the point of feeling harassed by the relentlessness of it. I'd be far more likely to amend this review if they just stopped but now the way they engage makes me feel like I owe it to other people to make sure they know how this company operates.
Reading all the other reviews on this site it seems that the vast majority land up on the site accidentally and then in an attempt to cancel the subscription they didnt sign up for they have to deal with customer service. Nearly all the reviews appear to be for someone assisting them in the cancellation rather than using a service or receiving a product. Very very sketchy.

So on July 22nd, 2025 i bought a bad from there website and without any confirmation they charged me $2 and today they charged me again with some dollar and its such an unacceptable thing, i didn't receive my parcel tho yet and i don't want it now.

Deceptive Charges and pressure for Positive Review
I tried to purchase from Imtiaz Store but was redirected to agadgetplace.com, where I was unknowingly signed up for a membership. When I requested a refund, I was told I had to leave a positive public review to get it. I have email evidence of this. The company later downgraded my plan and scheduled another charge without my consent. This is not honest customer service.

Hi...I'm writing this review because of the prompt and positive customer service I've received. I tried to make a purchase online and, unknown to me, I was redirected to another website to which i had no intention of doing any transaction.
Understanding my dilemma, customer support was very prompt in agreeing to process a refund for me,even though it is not in their policy to do such. This is A class service from a company who obviously has the customer first and foremost in mind.

Sharp response by the team about deduction-reversal
I somehow mistakenly did apply for membership at 'agadgetplace' and not putting much heed into things, agreed to their membership charges and all. But upon getting charged for the first time, I instantly put up a complaint about membership cancellation as well as deduction-reversal and asked for no further charges. Thanks to the escalation team, they responded lightning fast and made sure my deducted money will be credited back into my account. I am incredibly impressed with the sharp, positive, and polite response.
