What a terrible experience

What a terrible experience. I was traveling from Eemshaven to Borkum. At the boat I showed a man my QR code. He then asked or said something in German but I had no clue what. I asked "Can you speak English?", and he looked so angry and was shouting before letting me pass.

Its hard to believe anyone in general behaves this way, let alone in an industry like this where you need some basic social skills to deal with passengers that may arrive from all over the world.

I've also sent them an email with this complaint. So far no response.
