Project Pauses

I have liked the fact that this is a genuine operation with genuine payments that have helped me out alot so far. However, the projects are being paused for too long and that is making us, experts, feel forced to look for other alternatives for income meaning that by the time submissions are reopened, we will have limited or no time at all to work with AfterQuery anymore.

Lack of support

I got a new phone after my Samsung screen went blank. Only for me to get a ban notification when I attempted to log into my account on the new iPhone I just got using Google sign-in. I was told to contact support which I did but got no response or acknowledgement. Imagine my shock when I got a email asking me to rate my experience.
I am also yet to get paid for accepted tasks on Project A*d. Please the management and contact support team should do better in their dealings.

They do pay and now their payment…

They do pay and now their payment structured is more sound.
But everytime there is an opportunity there are asking like top 100 schools which is totally disappointing.
AdditionAlly, the generalist projects are worst, no channels, no rejection reasons and almost 99% submission r rejected. The only good projects are the ones which have slack/AQ chat channels.

After working on AQ just pray to GOD to get ur work accepted otherwise it is a mess.

The assessments results should be visible but they do not tell results.

Not a very good platform but since it is thriving so best of luck

I have been on afterquery but my…

I have been on afterquery but my experience is not that good.If afterquery take serious action on the issues I mention below it will be a great platform.
Issues:
1.long time reviewing the applications/ assessment
2.takes too long to review work done and therefore late pays are experienced.
3. Poor communication with the taskers/ community.
4. few projects that run only for few hours then paused for so long with no other projects updating.

Solution:
1.Displaying the applications/assessment stages and status
2.giving the expected time to review work done and paying out soon as they get reviewed maybe on Fridays as they say.
3. Clear communication with the community regarding the projects, technical issues , updates and everything else necessary to share.
4.Introducing more projects on the platform frequently and if possible the long-term projects.

Above are the issues and solution I feel they should take serious action to.

Missing payment for rewrite project…

Missing payment for rewrite project that elapse to two weeks and till date still not resolved by the team. Other remote workers got paid, while I wasn't paid for my approved tasks.

I did a task on project Golden Dog and was awaiting for a review only to see that Golden Dog is no longer available on my dashboard. The communication gap is huge, no proper announcements of events, projects appear and disappear at will.

The team should be more proactive, avoid delayed payments and review tasks as at when due.

I have been working as a coding…

I have been working as a coding specialist at Afterquery for about three months and have earned over $3,500 during that time. The platform is legitimate, and the reviewers are generally quick to process coding projects. However, the volume of available work for coders has significantly decreased recently. When projects are available, they often require private GitHub repositories, which limits the number of tasks I can complete. Furthermore, I have encountered recurring issues with generalist projects where reviewers consistently reject tasks using identical, copy-paste feedback. Additionally, the new GD project opens and closes submissions so rapidly that it is nearly impossible to submit work before they are filled.

A hyper-fast race to the bottom that burns out expert talent

I joined AfterQuery expecting a professional environment that rewards high-level developer expertise, but the reality is an assembly line structure. The workflow is incredibly frantic, creating a constant "race to the bottom" mentality. You are pressured to deliver complex cognitive work at lightning speed, yet the internal processes are deeply flawed and communication from management is non-existent.Worse, while you are rushed to submit tasks instantly, the internal review bottlenecks take forever. It feels like they commoditize human intelligence, extracting specialized developer knowledge for low-value payouts with zero job stability. High effort yields absolutely zero reward here. Avoid if you value your time and expertise.
