Awful company, they do not respond to emails at all. There was a delay for several months for delivery of the product with little to no communication with their team. After very little communication on their end, I asked for our order to be cancelled as we needed to get a mirror installed on site asap.
I did not hear back from them.
We ordered another mirror from another company called Designer Bathroom Concepts which are also under the same umbrella company (didn't realise at the time).
After a week or so both the two mirrors showed up, one from Affordable Rads, and one from Designer Bathroom concepts, with still no communication from their team.

Now I have two mirrors and I cannot get a return.

Don't waste your money on purchasing any products through them.

Also, both websites are no longer operating

I wish I'd read the reviews on here before ordering two radiators from this company. After waiting months for the them to come back in stock, they finally arrived damaged. I reported this to Affordable Rads and after loads of back and forth they finally arranged a pick up, but did so without asking me first and it was when I was at work. The next time they came I was in, but they didn't bring the replacement radiators which Affordable Rads told me would be dropped off when the faulty ones were collected.

It's now been nearly three weeks and they have my damaged returns, my money, but I still don't have the replacements. They are now ignoring my emails. I will be forced to report them to my bank if they continue to ignore me.

Ordered a radiator in Feb. Was later contacted to say it wasn’t in stock and offered an alternative. Accepted alternative and received email saying it had been dispatched. Still no sign of the radiator. Attempts to contact the company have been futile and now the website has disappeared. My advice is do not use this company!

The same experience as pretty much all the other one star reviews on here, and I’m out of pocket to the tune of over £1400. The website looked professional and in spite of some qualms at not having heard of the company I thought it must be above board. Had to pay via klarna which struck me as odd (now wondering if it’s because it makes it harder to get money back from them). Was asked to select a delivery date by email. The day came and it didn’t arrive- no tracking info. Next day tried to contact them and discovered there’s no phone number and online chat is the only option and it takes you round in a loop. After giving it another couple of days and finding the dreadful reviews on here (if only I’d looked earlier) I tried the online chat again - managed to get a human when I clicked the option to cancel. They said they could deliver a few days later but I’d totally lost faith so cancelled and asked for a refund. Still waiting. If it doesn’t come through I will be taking legal action, reporting it to the police and contacting the financial ombudsman, as well as anything else I can think of to put this dreadful company out of business. I don’t know how they are still trading,

Ordered a replacement heating element months ago, hasn't arrived despite chasing and no replies to my emails or enquiries logged via chatbot. Don't use this company, might as well be a scam.

Ordered a toilet seat on the 25th of Feb for delivery on the 8th of March. Never arrived and no further contact. Website is now down and it looks like they've went under.
Fraudulent practice to be accepting orders you have no intention or ability to fulfil.

Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere! If you insist on using them then definitely use a credit card or PayPal where you can claim money back when they let you down.
I ordered 2 radiators and still haven’t received them around a month later. They have no phone number and do not reply to the vast majority of emails you send them. They replied when I threatened going to trading standards but silence again since and still no products have arrived. I’m attempting to claim my money back through PayPal as I’m over £500 out of pocket and will be reporting them - seems like a scam business to me.

I ordered a shower tray at the end of January. It never arrived despite all assurances. The same thing happened in March with a new purchase and instead, I was contacted apparently by Parcel Force and Evri claiming a damaged parcel and illegible address - and requesting additional money. No one at Affordable Rads has bothered to reply to my emails and I have not been reimbursed. Never buy anything with them. They can’t be trusted.

Been waiting since 10th January, it is now 18th March. A couple of excuses early on, then a delivery date randomly received but no delivery. They will not answer any email or contact form I have sent since. Tried the live chat, go round in circles back to the contact form. Finally selected cancel order and I was to be sent to an advisor but over an hour later I was told they are busy and I would be emailed, have a guess....you got it, I still haven't heard anything. Tried it again another day to be told there are no advisors.
Currently waiting for Klarna to try and get a response but have to wait 21days before they will investigate.
And final straw the Affordable Rads web site can't be reached now!!
Nearly £700 for two radiator, considering involving the police.

Ordered on 1st March, before all the problems seemed to begin. Were offered a delivery date last week, nothing arrived - I've used these guys before and the delivery was late, so I wasn't too concerned. However, given the volume of poor reviews, and the fact their websites have disappeared, this feels more ominous. Frustratingly we paid by BACS so no recourse to a credit card or bank.

BE WARNED. Do not buy from this company. I bought a very expensive radiator & got sent a delivery date. Nothing showed up. Went to call surprise surprise no phone number! Emailed them multiple times with no response so started panicking. Went to email them again, their website is down. No way of contacting at all. Hoping as I paid with PayPal I'll get my money back. Absolutely disgusting service - or lack of it! This company needs to be shut down

Ordered a radiator in Nov 23 and still no show. I've had no email replies for at least two weeks now, and despite an automated email confirming delivery last week, still no show. AI chat bot is joke. I noticed this morning thier website and all thier associated company websites are no longer working. Paid in full with Klarna (the only means of paying on this website) and I have logged with them. Hoping they honor a refund.

I placed an order a few weeks ago but I can’t get in contact with them. The website is down and there is only a chatbot which goes round in circles.

Update: think they’ve gone out of business and just had refund from PayPal.

AVOID. Cancelled order as they could not deliver items I had ordered when I needed them, they responded to confirm that order had been cancelled. Since then (29/02) I’ve had no refund, no response to any email & no other way to contact. Raised transaction report with bank

Like many others on here, our second order with them. We ordered a radiator and toilet, made the payment then a few days later we received an email saying they were discontinued (despite them taking payment). We’ve since tried to contact multiple times with zero response, the chat function is just an AI bot, there is no way to directly contact. I suspect they are going out of business but if not then this is the worst example of customer service I’ve experienced

One star is being extremely generous. I struggle to believe the reviews that give this company credit. I paid for my radiator through PayPal and just as well - as the Affordable Radiator Company appears to not exist when you try to get in touch. PayPal has investigated my complaint and has now refunded me. So even they could not reach a satisfactory reaction. From my own experience I would advise not to touch them with a bargepole.

Didn't read reviews and paid £1700. No way to contact them and no way to get refund. I paid via direct debit with Klarna, raised issue with Klarna who are investigating, and opens a fraud case with my bank. Also reported to trading standards and Action Fraud. Not sure if I will see the money back, hoping my bank or Klarna can return it

First order went ok but second order has been a disaster was given a delivery date and nothing arrived have tried to make contact but no response!!!!!!!!!! six hundred pounds down and very angry do not go near this company!!!!!!!!

Currently v poor. Delivery not made on arranged date (yesterday, 14/3/24) and no response to ‘live’ chat or 2 x emails. Order number 12800809505

We contacted them to ask if the item we were interested in was in stock and what the lead time was. A human replied via email saying they had the item (a Reina radiator) in stock and that they'd delivery in 7-10 days. It's been more than a month and the product has not arrived. There is no way to contact them. I think it is a scam that also touches other companies belonging to the same group. I am looking to pursue legal action.
