Awful - simply awful purchase experience.
Awful. Simply awful. I ordered a set of wheels on 1/6/2024. The company (to be fair) offered a discount after I ordered a set of wheels that were inaccurately marketed on their website. Since that date I have received excuse after excuse about my ‘special order.’ So after 9 weeks, having paid for the ‘special order’ wheels, I still don’t have them. 9 weeks. So today I attempted to cancel the order and received a long email stating I couldn’t because of the ‘special order’. I’ll take legal advice to see if this is lawful. Fully paid, no wheels and told it could be another two weeks. I specifically wanted to support a British business but I won’t in future.
Update: 28th August 2024. Been advised that the ‘build’ for the wheels will be 30th August and up to a week after I may receive them. So essentially 14 weeks until I receive them (if I do by then) - summer gone, trip abroad with them gone and the “4 to 6” weeks delivery a pipe dream. Still, let’s hope the wheels are good - they talk a good job.
