Aeroc Bike Wheels 

Awful. Simply awful. I ordered a set of wheels on 1/6/2024. The company (to be fair) offered a discount after I ordered a set of wheels that were inaccurately marketed on their website. Since that date I have received excuse after excuse about my ‘special order.’ So after 9 weeks, having paid for the ‘special order’ wheels, I still don’t have them. 9 weeks. So today I attempted to cancel the order and received a long email stating I couldn’t because of the ‘special order’. I’ll take legal advice to see if this is lawful. Fully paid, no wheels and told it could be another two weeks. I specifically wanted to support a British business but I won’t in future.

Update: 28th August 2024. Been advised that the ‘build’ for the wheels will be 30th August and up to a week after I may receive them. So essentially 14 weeks until I receive them (if I do by then) - summer gone, trip abroad with them gone and the “4 to 6” weeks delivery a pipe dream. Still, let’s hope the wheels are good - they talk a good job.

The buying was easy and straight forward sent straight to my local shop where the top quality wheel builder did a great job .

The wheels are very strong with little freewheel noise . My first time on quality tubeless disc wheels and well worth it .

I purchased a set of Aeroc wheels 12 months ago, I prefer to review when fully tested. I have say these wheels are first class and so is the backing. Supplied in a quality storage bag too. Appearance wise they look great, also are the quality components used in the build. On the road they Climb, descend brilliantly manage crosswinds superbly, are stiff responsive and at the same time compliant with the road. I've spent various amounts on wheelsets over time and have to say Aeroc is now my preferred wheel without hesitation.

Having got bored and depressed looking at endless wheels on the web, it was a great relief to discover Aeroc. Mike's advice and expertise were greatly appreciated and it was very good to meet and chat to Rob, my own wheel builder. After five rides, I am very happy with the wheels.

If you want a pair of off the peg wheels go to your local bike shop. If you want a bespoke product (Get it ?) built to your individual specifications go to Aeroc. This is component built by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. From order to delivery you are kept updated on the progress of your order. Similarly you are able to communicate with the Master Wheel Builder your build. Tyres and cassette can be fitted prior to dispatch according to your needs, and once fitted , without doubt, they enhance your ride quality from spinning to climbing.

From the first ride these wheels scream top quality , from the dt-Swiss 240 hub that sounds super sweet and the sapim spokes giving confidence from the first roll of the wheels.
Haven’t missed a beat since day one , but the wheel builder support and service gives solid piece of mind.
Running 50mm rim brake version on tubeless , the wheels / service / aftercare have ticked all the boxes and I get a set of handmade wheels expertly assembled locally which supports my local bike mechanic 👌🏻

Wow, simply brilliant, bought a new bike last summer and after waiting for 6 months for delivery I decided to upgrade wheels in January. The difference is so noticeable, these wheels just roll better and make me feel more in control but also the speed has made me move up a group in my CC. The customer service was great and I really enjoyed knowing the builder etc. Thank you Aeroc, recommend to all.

Bought a set of 38mm Road with 350 hubs. I rate the 350 hubs as I have had them before and the are bullet proof. I love these wheels, they look amazing and ride fast but feel secure with great handling. The build and design is excellent, will be recommending to all.

Seriously good wheels and customer service. These wheels feel and look real quality, they ride brilliantly, look great and I loved the build experience. These are the best wheels I've ever owned and I highly recommended.

Having tried many different wheels over the years I can honestly say that these are at a different level. Upon my first outing I immediately noticed the better handling and smooth transistion over the road, something that I’ve never had with other brands before, it was that noticeable.
As an aside, delivery was super efficient and communication excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I recently contacted Aeroc with a view to having bespoke wheels made for my bike after years of purchasing what I now consider to be inferior off the shelf products! Absolutely amazed at the technical knowledge and advice I received and I'm looking forward to having my new wheels.The warranty and aftersales service offered are in my opinion second to none. Fantastic website, if only I'd known this was an option years ago!
