I will not use this service again

I will not use this service again. No air conditioning on the bus or at least they don´t turn it on even when it is boiling hot, rude staff, and drivers who drive like nuts. Very antiquated ticketing---if you buy a return ticket on the spot and lose the piece of paper, you are screwed even if you buy with credit card as they refuse to acknowledge the purpose. You can take the R2 train and have a much more comfortable ride for €1.30 if you use the T casual ticket or for free with a T usual ticket versus €7.75 on their sweltering buses. I do not recommend overpaying for this tourist scam.

Purchased return ticket from terminal…

Purchased return ticket from terminal 2c.
I was dropped at terminal 2b. Forced to leave bus at 2b. Had to walk 5 minutes to terminal 2c.
During the walk the same bus overtook myself and stopped at the 2c bus stop.
Would have been easy to allow myself to stay on to 2c.

Is there a scam booking ?

The concept of aerobus is great and delivers the service. However there is a scam going on with booking tickets. First time two years ago booked online. When we arrived in Barcelona to travel on the bus our tickets was invalid so we had to pay on the bus again. Last week I had a return ticket to the airport but the checker said my ticket was invalid, I speak Spanish so showed her my ticket and pointed out it was a return. I was let on the bus, seems funny this has happened twice? Anyone experienced these issues

Not cheap, not convenient. In short: a rip-off

If you are 4 or more people then get a taxi, it is a lot more convenient and cheaper and a taxi driver may be able to find a route away from traffic jams. Note: Aerobus don't discount for most children and Barcelona hasn't caught up with the rest of the world with dedicated bus lanes despite having some of the widest streets of any major European city.

Two main issues with Aero bus: cost and terminal drop-off. Bearing in mind that you've parted with €29 for four people you'd think they'd drop off at each terminal 2 section, A, B, or C. No. I think drop off is at T2B and then you have to drag your cases and kids another half mile to get to T2C.

So, actually, forget Aerobus until they buck up their ideas. Not cheap, not convenient.

Driver really not helpful

Driver really not helpful. Customer service even worse. No indication of what to do at 6am and almost lost my flight, just because the employees are the opposite of professional. Never again, much better a taxi or train. Do not use the service.

Aggressive driver and unhelpful customer service

Last time I took the aerobus from the airport, I encountered an aggressive and seemingly racist bus driver (got even nastier when noticing I am not spanish) - the company should really pay more attention on their hires. Someone aggressive behind the wheel is not very smart and you really should not employ someone with a grudge against foreigners for a service around the airport. Customer service was badly informed and full of empty promises when it come to reimbursing me for my 'experience' and no empathy for having triggered my past trauma. I can only advice caution with this company - there are other options!!

Avoid disgusting

Avoid! We paid for tickets, they sent us a receipt without the attachment holding the ticket apparently and took funds from the account.

We showed the bus driver, explained this. Busdriver rather than seeing it as an error refused to let us on, did not provide alternative solutions. I asked him to contact his manager as there had clearly been an error, he refused. It was dark and nighttime at El Prat, how many others have been left stranded for this same error.

Bus driver refused to provide his name for a complaint. It was 20.30PM on 14.10.2023, short, chubby, black hair and beard. A2 aerobus Barcelona.

We had to involve the police as we were concerned we were being scammed having paid for a service then refusing that service. Police supported us to eventually get on a subsequent bus, it should have not got that far.

Epitome of bad service

They offer you a digital return ticket, with validity of 1 year. Yet the digital part goes away pretty soon, as when you get in the bus for the first trip, they print a super slim paper receipt and tell you, in very broken English, "Digital does not work anymore".

I'm sure I will keep this almost illegible super small paper for a year before I take the return trip. Very digital. And very informative when I asked where to get a ticket, since all the self service machines were broken.
