I normally interact with Conor at Aerobase group and he is always very responsive and helpful with all of our communications. I have found a lot of companies in the same industry are less responsive and don't seem very interested in working with other small businesses but that is not the case with this group.

If you're in the market for high-quality aerospace fasteners and unexpected flattery from a man named Jake Armstrong, buckle up, because this company is about to launch your expectations into orbit.

Let me set the scene: I walked in needing precision-machined titanium bolts. I left questioning my sexuality and wondering how I could be both uncomfortable and deeply flattered at the same time.

Jake Armstrong—whose name sounds like a test pilot and flirts like a retired lounge singer—greeted me with a wink that said, “We exceed tolerance specs... and personal boundaries.” The man pitched O-rings like they were engagement rings. Whispered thread pitch specs like sweet nothings. Then, in a moment of quantum weirdness, he leaned in and said, “If you were a blind rivet, I’d pull your mandrel any day.”

The man knows his fasteners, I’ll give him that. He rattled off torque ratings and shear strengths like Shakespeare reciting a sonnet. Then he looked me dead in the eye and said, “I like a man who understands tensile load.” I wasn’t sure if he meant the bolt or my soul.

While I didn’t leave with a date, I did leave with a box of rivets, a mildly confusing sense of self, and an overwhelming respect for their product line. And Jake? He’s like a loose bolt in zero gravity—chaotic, magnetic, and probably shouldn’t be left unattended near sensitive equipment.

Final Verdict: 10/10 would recommend—for all your aerospace fastening needs and at least one unsolicited compliment.

I have a deadline to capture 20 ISO certifications from our prime suppliers. Today I wrote to Matthew Martin asking for a copy of the current certification for the St. Augustine location.
