Booking and printing the vouchers was …

Booking and printing the vouchers was easy. Both Aer Lingus flights were HORRIBLE in regard, for example, to leg room, space between rows, the entertainment systems not working on both flights, more disgusting than usual food, and some of the flight attendants on the Boston to Dublin flight. Generally, the hotels were above average. What determined our rating of two, rather than four, stars, however, is the extra charge that Aer Lingus Vacation Store (Store) imposed on us for Guinness/beer at the Brooks Hotel, for which we have no use, since we do not drink alcohol. A glass of pineapple juice for each of us, in place of the Guinness/beer cost much less than the extra charge. We want the extra charge refunded, despite a Store rep telling us that it is mandatory. Since when is charging nondrinkers for alcoholic beverages mandatory????

Fabulous vacation

Fabulous vacation, start to finish. Excellent service starting with Fred at Aer Lingus Vacations, the friendly Aer Lingus staff at the airport and in-flight, Dan Doolin and our wonderful B&B hosts throughout. 12 days wasn't enough. Already planning our next trip.

Love the packages.

Love the packages.
Love the prices.
Love the people when I call.
Hate it when I click on a date that says it is available, then wait and wait and am told the package is not available on that date.

Have used Aer Lingus Vacation Store …

Have used Aer Lingus Vacation Store several times with excellent experiences. This time I found out 2 weeks before departure that the trip was actually run by Cosmos Tours. If I had known that 8 months earlier when I booked the tour, I could have avoided a couple of problems. Also, the first 2 days of the tour had nothing planned except optional excursions at additional cost. From now on, no more escorted tours for us, just self-drive or city tours with our own itinerary.

Our adventure to the Wild Atlantic Coast of Ireland.

Aer Lingus good value. Flew CHS to SNN via JFK. Code share with Jet Blue was great! One continuous flight. If Aer Lingus continues to fly 757s they need cabin updating and addition of WIFI!

Easy trip, enjoyable flight. Extra fee for exit row well worth the money. Also on the return clearing US customs at Shannon made the transfer at JFK much easier.

Western Ireland fantastic quaint villages, castles and the Cliffs of Moher! B&B experience was very nice and meeting other travelers added to the trip. Meeting the hosts of the B&Bs also help us get to know the people of Ireland.

Loved every minute of trip.

Dooley's did not have a car for me

Dooley's did not have a car for me. The one they were going to give me was in an accident. No one noticed until I asked why the tire light was on in the car. By the time they found a car for me it was rush hour.
When I tried to print the itinerary the only thing that printed was the prepopulated areas. The details of my trip did not print.

1st trip to Ireland

flight was on time. Staff was wonderful during the flight. Our B&B experience was great as well. We stayed at three different locations and all were spotlessly clean and breakfast was as described. The car rental from Dooley Rental was fine as well. We are planning on returning to Ireland as a result of this initial trip!

Have flown on Are Lingus for many …

Have flown on Are Lingus for many years. I am always satisfied with the flight and the staff. The problems I have encountered, though not small, were very few, and settled to my satisfaction. I particularly like the Are Lingus Vacation store. Great value. Will continue to use them.

Great Experience!

I was so impressed by Aer Lingus Vacation Store's hotel choices for my family when we went to Dublin and Limerick! We had the best locations and the amenities were great. The triple rooms were very accommodating and spacious. Also, the tours they arranged for us were very special and we all enjoyed them. The experience was much better than I imagined. Thank you!

Had a positive experience

Had a very positive experience with Aer Lingus. Booking and all correspondence was timely responded to. B&B's very nice except one. Plane seats much to close together, I am aware that more room can be purchased, but being that I have very tall, do not feel that I should have be penalized for my height and pay extra.

Our first trip to Ireland September 2017

We were very excited about our first trip to Ireland and love staying in B&Bs. What we did not know was how limited our B&B choices would be thought the Aer Lingus Vacation Store. We were unable to stay in the town where my family was from and had to drive more than 20 minutes from the closest B&B available during our stay. When we got to the village we found many B&Bs available - just not through Aer Lingus. Next time we will book our B&Bs independently.

We found the Aer Lingus B&B booking process difficult, very little guidance on the website. As we booked our stays we had many questions and called customer service. The woman who answered the phone was rushed and rude. We were less than satisfied.

We found printing vouchers confusing as well. The site did not allow us to print individual vouchers for each B&B. Luckily we printed 2 and when we arrived at most B&Bs they accepted either our reservation number or made a copy. One B&B had no ability to copy and the host insisted on our paper copy leaving us with one more voucher for the rest of the trip. Be advised to carry multiple copies of vouchers!!!

Our car rental went smoothly however there is very little information on the vacation store to guide you through the insurance nightmare ... We did a lot of research before leaving and luckily had all paperwork in hand that proved we did not need to purchase the exorbitant insurance offered through Dan Dooley.

The vacation store web site needs up dating. We were disappointed in the user friendliness.

We will be going back to Ireland but will not be booking through Aer Lingus Vacation Store again.

Best of the best!

We travel all over the word and you guys have been by far the very best. 5 starts are not enough for the excellent customer service, everything as "said", and the kindness of your staff. We will be back in the future and we have pointed many people in your direction since we returned home! You guys are the best!
