I have attended several classes through this college, some as day courses and 1 as a term-time course. Every one I have attended has been well run with the staff on reception welcoming and helpful with any queries I've had. The tutors for all classes I've joined have been helpful and enthusiastic about their craft, and I've found they all make the classes as best as they can be for each student. It's also easy to park there either in the car park, or if full, there's plenty of parking out on the road. Alternatively there's space to lock up bikes securely.

Just started this course with Yolande and she is brilliant. She has a great sense of humour and she breaks things down very simply and gives modifications depending on ability. I did do Pilates for many years and stopped in 2020 as the teacher left Cambridge. Even though this says 'Beginners' it really doesn't matter, as every teacher has a different style and there are always new things to learn and I am definitely learning and realise how much I have missed Pilates with a good teacher.

After failing my Maths GCSE at ages 16 and 17 I have now managed to pass at the grand age of 51! This is all thanks to the teacher and the school at Adult Learn and Train. It was a great experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend it. My only regret is having to leave at the end of my course as I miss it terribly.

I have attended both the woodwork and pottery evening classes as well as a weekend course on candle making. The staff at the Adult Learn and Train are marvellous, friendly and helpful and the courses are well run and interesting. It can sometimes be difficult to get on some courses e.g. pottery but I would definitely advise putting your name on the waiting list if your chosen course is full as the team keep a close eye on it and you will probably get in the course the following term.

I’m taking the dressmaking class and have so far found the administrative team super helpful and on the ball. The course itself is great, well organised and I feel very supported.

I’m taking evening guitar classes. The admin to get onto the course was super simple and a phone call I made with a question was answered promptly by a very helpful (and patient) member of the admin staff. Getting sorted for my classes was very smooth. The actual classes have been excellent so far. They are fun and pressure free, the tutor adjusts to all our individual different learning styles and abilities. The homework is optional and there is no pressure. I really look forward to my classes.

I enjoy oil painting classes very much. The tutor gives good basic knowledge in oil painting and guides me through my oil paintings step by step as I am a beginner. He is very patient and helpful and kind.

I'm really enjoying my Dance to the Musical classes, the tutor is extremely welcoming and I helps everyone feel at ease in the class. I look forward to going each week and recommend the class to friends.
They also attended Day school classes throughout the year which I have found just as fun.
