From start to finish the purchase of my new property went very smoothly.
Senga was extremely helpful and always on hand for viewing etc.
Always kept me up to date with all that was happening throughout

Amazing service!

During our search to buy a house, Admove advertised two houses of interest. I must say, Admove did very well in showing the potential of the properties. From the moment we viewed our preferred property and put in an offer on the property, the service was excellent. Admove was willing to accommodate some of our requirements to ensure the timely completion of the purchase of the property. Senga from Admove kept on top of every aspect and communicated in a timely way. I will not hesitate to use or recommend Admove in future.

RENTING WITH ADMOVE

THINKING OF RENTING WITH ADMOVE? READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO!!

We viewed a property with a landlord through Openrent. After the viewing, Admove were also managing the house so we signed the tenancy agreement and paid Admove.

The landlord seemed nice on the day and said any issues get in touch, well that’s not quite true.

ONE HOUR after getting the keys, I emailed Charlie and Sam to advise of several issues that needed sorting before we could officially move in. I offered to contact the landlord myself as he advised from the start but wouldn't provide his info.

The boiler wasn’t working, the whole house needed a deep clean, there was rubbish in the garden, 8 huge pavement slabs, cooker hobs wouldn’t work, windows wouldn’t close properly, mould in the kitchen, hair all in the bathroom sink and shower, side gate and fence weren’t secure, holes poorly repaired in doors and straightner burns all over the carpet and rats or mice burrowing under the conservatory, it was INHABITABLE

We chased them up every other day by phone and email to be told we’re waiting for the landlord to approve the repairs. I felt like Charlie and Sam wanted and tried to help and they were always lovely but ultimately their hands were tied. As our estate agent, they should have had more control and approval but they didn’t.

As nothing had happened after almost 3 weeks (baring in mind we had pretty much moved in, 3 days to go until we left current property), we went into the office and saw Mike. We were lucky we were able to lock all our belongings into the conservatory as that was somewhat clean on the hope things would start to be repaired but nope.

Charlie was off all that week so it’s a good job we turned up as otherwise we would be stuck in a house with a landlord and estate who couldn’t work anything out between themselves.

Mike agreed with all the issues raised and said they should be sorted. He advised the landlord wasn’t co-operating and they may need to disinstruct him. Brill but where does that leave us!! Mike took the list of issues again and said he would try to sort and asked us to get a quote for the deep clean and the other issues would be sorted.

The next morning, I provided a quote to which Mike advised he and the landlord thought it would be best to PART WAYS, release us from the tenancy and close the relationship with them and the landlord. This was a SHOCK!!. We said we didn’t want to move in whilst there was so much wrong, but instead he thought he was ‘doing us a favour’. Yeh great favour as we hand our keys back to our current landlord in 3 days, leaving us HOMELESS.

We simply wanted the issues in the house sorted as it should have been to start with, it was not too much to ask. We have our own house to clean and sort before leaving why were we expected to sort their last tenants mess out!

Mike made it out as if we were to blame and we shouldn't have signed anything until we were happy with the house. After being told if there are any issues get in touch, to then Charlie, Sam and even he agreed things should be moving forward, how dare he put it on us.

Mike said ‘we want to spend time helping genuine clients’!!! Bearing in mind, we’d paid £4,650 for our deposit and the landlord asked for 3 months upfront, how more genuine can you get!?!?!?!

At no point did he offer to find us another rental house, I felt he just simply wanted rid of us. He will of course be happy to keep the landlord on with his other houses though, just get rid of the 'fussy' tenant!!!!

We were very reasonable from the start and even fixed the gate, the fence and moved all the rubbish. We even said we would let the cosmetic issues go, and honestly I did this in the hope they would focus on the bigger issues but still NOTHING was done.

They then tried to charge us a pro rata for the days we had the keys, almost £600. We advised multiple times we’re being held up from moving in and kept chasing and chasing.

Moving is stressful enough without all of this going on, it was really unfair.

We refused to accept the pro rata charge as they nor the landlord did ANYTHING since we got the keys so how dare they charge a penny. After a battle and Mike calling the landlord several times we got every penny back but they did try and stick with the charge.

I would avoid renting with this company and landlord where possible as its been a mess from start to finish.

It’s a shame as the house is now back on their website, I just hope all these issues have been resolved before the next tenant applies.

Dreadful company full of timewasters &…

Dreadful company full of timewasters & dishonest people. When selling our house with admove the directors had their friends put the best offer forward but didn’t tell us and advised they would be the best for a quick sale.Unknowingly we listened, this then went into a battle with their solicitor requesting irrelevant information at additional cost to us. When requesting help from admove we were met with lies and arguments 6months later after almost loosing our future home we pulled out and fired admove. Completed the sale 3months later no hassle.

Who slept on the job?

Made an enquiry with Admove, on 2 August 2021, about a property advertised on Zoopla. I was advised that they were awaiting confirmation from the current tenant on when viewings could take place. I left my contact details to be notified of when a viewing could be arranged.

Followed up on 5 August 2021, and I was informed that the property had received an offer. On querying when viewings had started and explaining that I had not received any notification, the response was "Oh, that must have been my colleague...Sorry, would you like us to take your details and we can let you know if there are other suitable properties?" Erm, no. I'd like to know why someone slept on the job or perhaps just made arbitrary decisions as to whom to contact regarding viewings...
