Really disappointing experience. I always had good guests except the recent one. Where guests they made a mess smoked cannabis, whine on the carpet, walls, inhalate gas baloons. The only thing that... See more

I would give booking.com a 0 star if I could. The support for hotel partners is horrendous! And they don't really care if they lose a customer. Airbnb charges 3% commission to me and they have upped their game with personalized support. Booking.com charges at least 15% commission and it is almost impossible to get their agents to read a support message and answer it. A canned response is the norm.

Worst Experience
3rd attempt to try and resolve issue of using extranet but kept getting cut off and was told twice I'd get a call back but nothing. Clearly they dont want business.
Booking.com....a necessary evil.
On May 22, I registered my hotel on Booking.com. Now, on Aug. 5, my DSA form is still under verification. This means that my property can not be seen by customers in the European Union (and those are my customers!) Even if you call their service two or three times a week...no one at Booking.com seems to be doing their job, no response at all. Just phone operators who apologize over and over again for the inconvenience and promise me to escalate the situation. Your problem should be solved within 48 hours....it's beyond ridiculous!
The user interface (GUI) is TERRIBLE…
The user interface (GUI) is TERRIBLE for hosts. It's like going back in time to Teletext. FYI i'm 32YR M with high IT skills.
AirBnB makes a mockery of Booking.com.
Terrible company to work with
Terrible company to work with, have you fill out information with a credit card processing company you believe is supposed to charge the incoming renters and you'll never receive payment. Then it's impossible to call them only can email and when you ask where your payment is they claim you're supposed to charge the customers directly!
Unacceptable Room
We reserved a room on the coast of Maine over Memorial Day ... No issue at $340 a night. When we arrived the bed box spring was exposed and stained, the curtains were hanging lopsided, the floor had recently been upgraded to vinyl plank but was not complete and there were no baseboards. There were wasps in the room....and no screens. we made a reservation for 4 adults there were only towels for two. We took the keys back and asked for confirmation that we did not stay, they said no that we would have to talk to Booking.com. booking.com will not refund us the money.
Outstanding, overdue payments from Booking to hosts
I am a Booking hostess, I have a property, Es Moli de na Sebastiana, that I rent out on holiday through Booking in Mallorca. I have not been paid for the stays of the guests in my house since the 13th of June, more than a month ago. I have called and sent multiple messages, to all of them they answer me that they elevate my incident, and so I have been more than month.
Booking.com is the worst platthe worst of the worstest. Very badform one…
Booking.com is the worst platform one can list their property. They are actually thieves. You write them messages and they don't reply neither do they read them. Recently they closed my yummy listing whose commission I paid the day they sent me their invoices. I hate them a lot. I wish I could close their stupid company. They don't let clients book with credit cards in Uganda and after they charge them a no show fee and they again charge commission on it
Where will I find a guest to charge them. Very stupid them
Booking.com has serious Web software problems.
Booking.com has serious problems.
If you for example reserve 2 hotel rooms 1 adult and 3 kids, it will force the adult name on both rooms and eliminate the kids, so when u arrive the hotel will not honor the reservation. They tell you u have to contact booking.com.
Good luck getting a hold of them. after 1 hour on Hold, then send you to a call center in the Philippines and the agent is reading a scripted template response, totally unable to resolve you issue. If u email them a detailed explanation, they send you a phone number in the Netherlands to call. Good luck speaking Dutch English.
They won't fix the problem after you've explained the issue and provided all material, They make it extremely hard to get a hold of them. They won't refund any extra charges you incurred due to their software web site mistakes nor the incompetency of their agents.
My advice to any travelers, u can use booking to search hotels, but then call the hotel directly and they should price match, That way you take booking.com out of the loop, so when u arrive u can deal with the hotel directly, instead of a travel agency like booking hiding behind the internet.
Even with the messages and emails I sent Booking, all the employees there do is copy and paste generic useless responses and tell u in the end to call them.
Horrendous Experience with Booking.com - A Nightmare for Property Owners
As an administrator who recently took over the management of several properties from a state agency, my experience with Booking.com has been nothing short of a disaster. Despite providing ample evidence of ownership and fulfilling all necessary requirements, my accounts and properties have been repeatedly blocked by Booking.com.
It has been over a week, and my properties remain unavailable for booking. This has not only caused immense frustration but also led to significant financial losses. The lack of responsiveness and inefficient handling of the situation by Booking.com's support team is unacceptable.
In a business where time is money, Booking.com has proven to be the worst company to deal with. Their lack of support and unreasonable delays have been a huge waste of time and resources. I strongly advise other property owners to consider alternative platforms to avoid such a terrible experience.
as a host and as a guest
as a host, if you make a mistake and double book, you pay the difference to relocate the guest.
if as a guest, their system makes a mistake, they take no accountability, don't make an effort to relocate you, don't reply after promising and haven't even returned the money
if their system for some reason charges the guests half o the fee due to a glitch, they don't offer to refund the difference, don't call you back, have the audacity to acknowledge its their mistake but, won't cancel the booking and won't let you cancel the booking without penalising you
all these happened to me as a host and guest in the matter of 2 weeks. now I will do everything i can to never use them again but, fear they're just too big and therefore can afford to be this arrogant and complacent with their service because, they're just too big to fail (for now)
Not secure
Not secure. Ripe with phishing scams that come through the "secure" chat that very much looks like its coming from your booking hosts.
Price match policy is a complete scam
Price match policy is a complete scam. I booked a vacation rental through them and then submitted a price match claim. Had to send them 3 messages for them to finally respond. Then they asked me to submit a screenshot proving lower price. They also asked for a link to verify availability after you have already booked on their site. Well as you can guess once you book a vacation rental there won’t be availability on the other site as it’s a single unit. I submitted a screenshot and quote to them from other site and never heard back. It’s been almost 6 weeks since I submitted the first claim and finally I gave up patience today I called them. It took them an hour and their customer service was absolutely horrible. They didn’t even try to help they just kept claiming “it’s policy, and you misunderstood the policy” and gave a million excuses why they couldn’t match the price. I asked how I could ever get a price match on a vacation rental if I had already booked on booking.com and couldn’t provide a link showing availability. They could never give me an answer. Would give them zero stars if possible. Will never do business with them again. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Avoid them at all costs. Misleading policies and horrible customer service.
Services are lousy

I agreed with host to cancel one room , booking - despite the fact what was explained to them made an error and left me without a residence in high season. Stay away
Why the hell doesn't Booking.com do…
Why the hell doesn't Booking.com do something about this? Completely useless for landlords.
I arrived at my accommodation to check…
I arrived at my accommodation to check in there was no one available. I could not get in to the cabin that I reserve in advance. Got a hold of booking.com through a chat bot. Gave me a telephone number to a restaurant that had no clue of what I was talking about. Tried to speak to a live person with booking.com was on hold for over an hour till I hung up, make a long story short booking.com sucks they have no customer service. The best you can do is speak with a bot. They accept no responsibility at all for a reservation that was not honored. booking.com is a scam.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
I have been fighting with their customer service for a month. They cancelled an airline ticket transaction because of technical errors. So, I never got the tickets, but they charged me anyway. It took five emails with customer service to get them to understand that I never got the tickets but paid. Finally, they sent me to their complaint department. They emailed me and said the tickets were cancelled. No kidding? When I emailed them back to remind them that I knew the tickets were cancelled and I just wanted my money back, I got a canned reply that my case was closed, and they were no longer accepting communication on it from me. Isn't that convenient. In the meantime, they still have my money. Thieves and morons.
We had booked an aparthotel by name…
We had booked an aparthotel by name Vienna Residency Danube Apartments. This host along with Booking.com cheated us. They showed on booking.com one apartment and the apartment we actually checked in was different. The customer care of booking.com Ms Noha E misguided and cheated us by promising us that they will refund our full booking amount and also 50% cost of our new booking as a compensation which was a false statement and the subsequent agent except offering apology for wrong statements by them didn’t do anything. Booking site is a fraud and the agents are full of lies. Don’t trust them.
