Wasted 2 hours of my time
I drove 45 minutes to the Richmond store to get some competent advise for a medium/high end Hifi music system and to look and listen to different speakers.
A young and friendly person looked after me. Unfortunately he was new to the store and was not able to give me any technical advise. The store also was not able to get the speakers going. I had to leave after them trying for more than half an hour. It was a waste of time. Every Harvey Norman store can give better advise and is better set up to get their products going.
A flashy store like this with premium products should do a lot better
Fantastic Experience All Round!
The Team was amazing at the Richmond store, the setup and options is incredible and I was able to try out a whole lot of equipment on the day - ended up being able to mix and match a bunch of speakers and amps and the team was incredibly helpful, and made some great suggestions.
If you're stepping into the world of hi-fi like I was, get down to this store as they make it much less daunting and a more enjoyable experience all round. Thanks for the help!!!

Poor Service and Communication
I bought my Cambridge Melomania P100 headset from Addicted To Audio. I complained thru email about the noise cancelling feature of this product and also the persistent and annoying “ticking sound” whenever the noise cancelling is turned On. From time to time, it also disconnects from my device.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from AddictedTo Audio. What was supposed to be a straightforward experience turned into weeks of frustration. Communication was practically terrible—calls weren’t returned and email was left unanswered for almost two months. For a company that value customers, this level of neglect is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values reliable service and good communication.

From delay to delight: exceptional support
I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Addicted To Audio and my experience was nothing short of excellent. My initial purchase was an iFi portable DAC/amp. Despite the anticipation, availability turned out to be quite unpredictable and was pushed forward by about three weeks. While this could have been a setback, what truly impressed me was how the Addicted To Audio team—especially Mary—handled the situation.
Instead of being stuck in limbo, I decided to opt for a different product: the FiiO M11S, a higher-end music player. Mary made the transition absolutely seamless. She was quick to respond, and within no time, sent me an updated invoice reflecting the price difference. To my amazement, my new audio player was shipped and delivered the very next day!
It’s also worth noting that Addicted To Audio offers full Australian warranty on their products.
All in all, despite a rocky start with availability, Addicted To Audio turned things around brilliantly.

Prompt customer service and delivery
I asked a question through the website about some speakers and the reply came very quick. I ordered a pair of tower speakers and they arrived within 2 days. I also order some bookshelf speakers and electronics a few months back and the delivery was quick back then as well.

It was not repaired and sent back to me after three months.
I bought the Noble Audio FoKus Prestige in March 2025. After three months, in June, the sound in the right earbud started to become distorted. I sent it in for repair at the end of June, and it has now been three months, and it's still not fixed. The customer service team just keeps saying "as soon as possible" and then nothing. For such an expensive pair of Bluetooth earphones, the service is terrible. They are still advertising a local Australian warranty, but it's taken three months to fix a distorted right earbud. Even a global warranty wouldn't be this slow. It wouldn't even take three months to handcraft a brand new pair, would it?

What went wrong is poor customer service and misleading advertising. I ordered a cd player for $220 not realising there were 2 identical models except one had blue tooth - that’s what I wanted - and a non BT. The adds were identical and I ordered the non BT in error. They wouldn’t exchange it for me and told me to sell it on eBay. I did but for $100 loss. They have good products but because of the poor service I’d be wary of buying from them, there are other retailers with much better customer service. I have since spent nearly 10k on audio equipment and would have bought from them if not for my bad customer experience with the cd player. I didn’t want to risk more dramas if something went wrong spending 10k so bought from retailers I’ve had good experience with in the past. If you’re not concerned about customer support if something goes wrong they are probably as good as anyone else, but for me it’s deal breaker.

Purchased the Final UX3000 headphones
Purchased the Final UX3000 headphones, website experience and delivery was awesome but that where it stopped the product supplied is sub par quality and there is no phone application that works in Australian market.
When I requested a refund was advised that only unopened products will be accepted, no mention on the site about poor audio quality of the product and information about there is phone app support. Will not be purchasing from this company again.
Note to other users - Bluetooth connection is poor - having to restart the device as the audio sounds like you are underwater.
The Richmond store is Grand
Called in the magnificent Richmond store today. Wow what a building. Spectacular display of wares. The initial chat with the staff was very friendly and professional. I was there to try out headphones. I was duly escorted to the 3rd floor and introduced to the Headfi gent named Matt. Matt was an absolute gem. He came across as very knowledgeable, friendly and genuine in his desire to find the right headphone for all my needs. I am fairly new to the HP game so a chat with Matt cleared up alot of questions. I did not make a purchase, but I am now much further advanced in my quest. Thanks to AtoA and Matt. You can't beat great customer service.

Amazing Experience!!!!
Purchased a set of Hifiman Edition XS headphones and a Topping DX3 Pro+ headphone amp/dac. The headphones were on pre-order and the website said that they were expected to come in in early January. I was fine with this so I purchased them online on the 3rd of December and eagerly awaited updates. Their team immediately reached out to me to confirm that I was aware the headphones were on pre-order. I said I was and asked that the amp be sent out as soon as possible so I can get that set up with my current headphones until the new ones came. They did this and I received the amp the next week. I have just received the headphones on Christmas Eve, at least a week earlier than I thought I would and I am over the moon. I checked the packing slip in the box, and they sent it express. I did not pay for express so I really appreciate that they would express ship it to me (by air as well so it arrived the day after it was sent).
I also want to note that the headphones were only 449 AUD as opposed to their normal 779 AUD. There is only one other authorised seller of these headphones in Australia (from what I can tell), and they were only selling them at the normal price. So I was able to get the headphones and amp for cheaper than the headphones would usually cost.
Overall I am incredibly happy with my whole experience with Addicted to Audio and will definitely be purchasing from them in the future.
