Alasdair is a wonder teacher. I really did not expect to enjoy this course so much, but I found it very engaging, interactive and applicable to real life. Alasdair focuses on really helping you understand scrum and how it applies to you so that you digest the information at a deeper level - not just memorize it for a test (which I did pass on the first try after Alistair's class). I really enjoyed it and took a lot of good ideas for my role from it.

I found the the PSPO course extremely valuable and well worth the time

The focus of the course is exactly what is advertised: applying Scrum. On one hand, you'll definitely benefit from having some basic knowledge of this framework, but at the same time, you don't need to be an expert. It meets you halfway which was ideal for me.
The facilitator was clearly very knowledgeable on the subject and also a great communicator.
The course made me question the way we're currently applying Scrum in my team and gave me a new perspective on what we could be doing differently.
While I found the contents useful, the execution of the session could have been more fluid. The course was conducted via Zoom, and I think the break room strategy didn't work the best for me personally. At times, it felt unnecessary; it was disruptive to the discussions we were having as a group, and sometimes would stop my train of thought.
I would recommend attending this if you want to identify areas of improvement in the way you and your team are applying Scrum.

Love the structure of the course and the possibility to ask so many questions and get the clear nice answers back. Would recommend this course to everyone who wants to learn and explore more about Scrum :)

The training was really interesting, helpful and fun. I really understand and get the “real scrum” now and the teacher was really knowledgeable and empathetic.

Great training, Alasdair's explainations were very enlightening. The practical exercises really help and the assessment is challenging enough so you feel confident about your acquired knowledge once you pass it.

Communication both pre and post-course have been excellent.
Alasdair provided great tuition and managed to tailor some of the content directly to some of the participant's real-life working examples which made it easier to comprehend.
I passed the PSPO level1 after the course so it must have covered everything I needed for that, and it has certain proved useful in my job where we are in the early stages of implementing the scrum framework.

I was hoping to receive a confirmation of payment after the payment was made, as they payment needs to be done through PayPal, which added a tax as well, I was not sure if the payment had been done and my seat was reserved, although I understand that if there are not enough attendees the course could not go ahead.
A confirmation email on payment and then another one on course registration would be helpful -
also the email I received was this:
We are pleased to inform you your place on our course is successfully booked pending payment. Please be aware your registration may be revoked if payment is not made by 20/07/21 - when the course is on 25/05/21 - and I had already made the payment 1 week ago.

Alastair MacLeod was a superb guide & teacher for the PSPO I class. It was an engaging two days of discussion, break out sessions and information. He presents in a way that is relatable and challenges participants to think about ways to apply the theory. I'm thankful to have had such a warm and intelligent leader during this class. Class + preparation before and after led to success in passing the PSPO test first time. Thank you so much!

Simply wonderful and thankful to be facilitated by Alasdair and connected with the participants.

Last week I participated in Professional Agile Leader - PAL E-course tutored by Alasdair Macleod. The course was full of thought-provoking team activities complemented with extremely valuable tools an Agile Coach/ Organization Leaders can use during the Agile transformation. I was quite impressed with Alasdair's teaching style and how he managed to facilitate great conversations while maintaining the momentum and covering the entire content in 2 days. I would strongly recommend this course for Agile Coaches/ Scrum Masters/ Organization Leaders who are looking to deepen their knowledge on the role of leadership in promoting and supporting Agile in organizations.

I really enjoyed the 2-day training sessions, which provided me with a solid understanding of the SCRUM framework. I highly recommend it instead of self-study for the certificate.
Suggested improvements: Coming from a non-IT background I felt at times that I had to "translate" some parts of the content to match a non-IT context of application. I feel that it could be improved by diversifying application examples to include all sectors were SCRUM is nowadays applied.
Lastly, the 2 attempts for the certificate exam one gets when taking the course are really useful as the actual exam is considerably harder than the open training tests.

I enjoyed the PSPO I course a lot. It was very professionally delivered and easy to understand.
We were told what to look out for in the exam and what to concentrate our learning on. The additional materials provided are quite helpful and I'm sure I'll use them in my career life in the future.
All in all very recommendable! 5/5 would participate again!

Very good and engaging two days. The course covered off a lot more than I expected. I had expected to mostly be covering the scrum guide but it provided a lot more detail on the practice of Product Ownership as well as the principles to work by.
It also provided good practical steps to start implementing as part of my daily work as a PO and pointed to more long-term practices to focus on such as constantly reviewing the value that a product is delivering and having this at the forefront of my mind when managing a product backlog. Also, thinking about scaling the PO responsibilities as a product grows.
