I love all that this app can do, but I find the back end really confusing every time I try to do things. It's not intuitive and things are buried in weird places. I wish there was a way to give feedba... See more

I dislike that when the phone app…
I dislike that when the phone app requires a verification code via email - I cannot access the code and come back to the screen to enter the number, it reloads the page and sends me into an infinite loop of trying to get the code and reloading a new page. It refuses to work and this had made my business difficult many times until I am able to get on a computer. I also dont like (on the app) that if someone else pays for a clients session via credit card (for example a wife is paying for her husband), I cannot enter her name as the card holder - and therefore again, I have to wait to find a computer. I also dislike that in the scheduler, you cannot mass delete appointments made by clients that book out in advance.
Good over all but 1
Good over all but 1. Doesn't always find my patients when I input their names to create a follow up appointment and 2. often books follow up appointments as initials.
multiple sign ins required weekly
Both the app and the web browser versions routinely kick me out and I have to do my two-factor authentication sign in all over again, sometimes multiple times a day. it's incredibly annoying.
Simple
Acuity makes it easy to set the technical stuff in place for my clients and myself so that we can then focus on the more fun parts of my business.
Review
Simple to navigate and great tools available to personalise usage for my business
I loved Acuity and used it for years
I loved Acuity and used it for years. Then suddenly it was using an old a new site both to allow people to schedule on both of my old ( closed year ago) and new site wreaking havoc on my schedule. It was also cancelling appointments. Every time I tried to get help. I was either asked for screenshots or lots of other information which took me hours to look up and track down during a very busy period in my studio. By the time I gathered the info I was handed off to someone else who then wanted the same or more info. No one seemed to understand what was going on. I finally found the only solution I could find was to cancel with Acuity and find another online booking company. Being able to talk to a person on the phone would have been helpful.
Acuity is definitely one of
Acuity is definitely one of, if not the best appointment scheduling apps for how easy it is to use. I have a couple issues with it from time to time but mostly it works well and efficiently for my business.

New features wanted
1. The templates are a little temperamental when formatting them.
2. I wish we had the ability to change a time zone without having to cancel an appointment and schedule it again.
3. I wish there a function to add a client automatically to a cancellation waitlist, that was tied to a customizable email template response when added. I currently have to use an Excel file, to hold their place.
love it, a wait list option would be helpful
I like how easy it is to customize appointment types. My clients find it easy to use also. I would love if there was a waitlist option. I sometimes have clients that want a specific day or want to be in line if I have an appointment come available. It would help me because I won't always remember if someone says let me know if you get an opening.

5 out 5 would be great but...
I would give a 5 out of 5 because I truly like the scheduling system. I have been using this system about three years. Its just certain areas need minor adjustments. For me, I have no way of limiting the number of add-ons a customer can select for there appointment and the interface for purchasing gift certificates needs to be simplified so the customer can have a general "To: From:" and the ability to text or email the gift certificate to the recipient. Thus, on my end I see the gift certificate listed with the "To/From" so I can find the names.
Great for basic scheduling
I don't have much experience with any scheduling platform outside an EMR, but Acuity does do the job, most of the time. There are some issues that we have when it comes to creating certain specials, gift cards, and point of service transactions. We have to get creative in how we provide those discounts and sometimes I just don't have the bandwidth for creativity.
I do like getting the texts when clients schedule and cancel. That is super helpful.
very good tool and easy to use.
very good tool and easy to use.
Sometimes though the e-mails don't reach the client even if the e-mail address is correct. I then receive a message, that the mail did not reach the client and that it might be because of an error in the e-Mail address wich then is not the case!
Hi Team,
Hi Team,
My name is Ara. I noticed that we were charged 2100 instead of 1900. I’m very disappointed and would like an explanation for this change.
This matter is urgent because my boss is asking for clarification. Please provide a message or explanation from customer service as soon as possible.
Thank you.

We have adapted Acuity to work with our business, but we still wish there was a way to archive classes that are no longer active. We have to set up a new class for every class we offer as it is a multi-day class. Right now we have to go in and change the category for a finished class to something that appears at the bottom of the list of classes. It becomes very cumbersome as we have 2.5 years of classes and have up to 20 classes in a month. It works well though, I just wish we could made some feature requests and have them be addressed.
