I had a great experience shooting my showreel with Actor's Studio. Taz, Helen and the rest of the team were super kind and professional. It was a joy to work with and learn from them. I highly recommend Actor's Studio!

I ordered The Rising Star showreel package and I really got my money's worth. The zoom discussion with the director put my mind at ease about sound options to work with to construct a strong showreel, and he sent through two excellent bespoke scripts a week later. I even checked one with a external expert and they said it was true to life!
The shoot ran really smoothly; the team were really professional and on the ball. Helen is very welcoming and an additional support behind the scenes on the day. Everything was well organised and I was paired with some great actors.
I received the edit in good time and was really happy with the finished results. So many people I showed it to suggested I put the showreel to use straight away.

Ok, I can’t do this review enough justice with just 5 stars as it really deserves so much more.

It’s the third time I’ve chosen to work on set filming a scene with the incredible team at the Actors Studio (and about my fifth time there doing something whether it be a course, learning or bettering my on screen skills) and due to the fact they produce such unbelievable work, when I have posted the finished scenes on various platforms people say “what program (or what film) is that from?”!!! HOW many places would you go to for a course, to get a scene for your showreel or do any filming say that, thinking it’s from a program or film?!!! The quality, organisation team and finished product from start to finish is world class.

You don’t just learn more skills and get a fabulous scene, showreel or tools to take away, you get content that gets you working, noticed and stands out big time! You get to work with such professional people who are clearly passionate about their work and people you can thoroughly learn from and enjoy creating pieces with! A big bonus too? Working at the legendary Pinewood Studios!

Hell, even when I’m going to be a series regular (which I know will happen thanks to the Actors Studio team producing me work I can sell so easily!) I’ll STILL continue to return to them out of choice whether it be to film stuff, continue my career development to stay sharp (and would gladly help out other actors if they need a scene person to partner up with to create reel content) simply because, they are the best. So worth the investment. Thank you AS Team!

It was a second package I bought from the Actors Studio, and I'm glad I did! The classes leading to the shoot were amazing, very helpful, Tim Kent was a great teacher, it was really easy working with him, understanding his directions, his suggestions how to bring out the most from each scene.
And the day on set was so much fun, a lot of good energy, the whole team at the Actors Studio was 100% professional, they made me feel very safe, they took care of us, made sure we were following all the COVID regulations, etc. It was a great day, and I will definitely be back for more!

Absolutely fantastic experience. We really delved into how to fully prepare when receiving a script and it worked really well on zoom as we could split up into small groups. Filming in Pinewood was a first class experience with a very professional crew- no messing around -a great working day and I now have full confidence working on a film set. Highly recommend it to any actors needing a refresh or just to top up your experience.

I booked the Showreel Booster course with Tim Kent. The course was both informative and fun. I really enjoyed being able to participate via zoom and then have the day of filming at Pinewood.

Tim has wealth of knowledge which he is happy to share, I have booked a further course already! Overall a great experience!

Online/filming day course. Great team, really awesome environment. Had a great time and really learned alot. It was an awesome experience to arrive for filming having never met my scene partner in person and having only rehearsed for a short amount of time. Great opportunity and highly recommended.

I’ve just spent three days on a multi cam workshop where the crew / directors all took our Covid safety very seriously. Aside from that the course itself was really informative, fun and engaging. Was well worth the money and the crew were exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

This was such a great workshop and so much fun as well as learning and getting some good tips. Tim immediately put everyone at ease and kept a good vibe going each day. The 2 filming days were great fun, lovely crew and working with 2 directors was also good experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone I know looking for experience in front of the camera and in need of showreel. I would definitely be interested in any other kinds of workshops you do.

If you took classes before, but still feel stuck, please take this course. If you are new and need a starting point, please take this course. I can not stress this enough. It is a MUST. Mel is a ... (forgive me...)... a GOD!

Regardless of experience Carolyn Pickles really gave everyone the opportunity to start a fresh. The way Carolyn inspired and encouraged whilst also being honest really improved my performance. Grade A teaching. Thank you so much Carolyn, I have come away feeling i had the best week, wish it went on for longer.

Fantastic tuition and experience! The Actor's Studio is a brilliant place to learn about the essentials of acting on screen and build on your current skills. The team are professional and friendly, and cater to complete beginners and more experienced performers alike. It's a safe and constructive atmosphere to build confidence in this area, and importantly to learn from those around you who will have varying levels of experience and knowledge. It's been a wonderful journey despite the challenges of this year, and I would highly recommend the courses.

Actors studio is the best place I’ve ever studied and this place has literally changed my life :)

I really enjoyed my experience at the Actor Studio. The coaches are great, all different, with different subjects and it is a good thing cause you see different aspects of acting and how the industry works.
I definitely gained more skills and I recommend it to anyone with lack of confidence, with confidence, to work on your skills all the time. This intense Masterclass has helped me to face the fear of camera. Even though I do love acting, the camera presence was always a worry for me, but practice makes perfect. It makes me want to do more.

I have finished this course feeling very confident and motivated to progress as a working actor. I was extremely impressed by all the COVID procedures implemented, which made the experience safe but also did not compromise the quality of the course. Tim and Richard are excellent teachers who gave lots of insightful and valuable direction throughout. I look forward to booking onto another course and returning again soon.

This course was really a much needed beam of light in this horrible year. First of all they have strict COVID regulations and everyone respects them.
Tim and Richard were great teachers, kind, helpful and engaging. This was my first experience at Pinewood Studios and everyone made me feel welcomed and taken care of. I left there a different actor. It’s safe to say I will be back for more.

High quality for all ranges of experience with a very friendly and welcoming 1ST AD running the day who's relaxed but direct style was very good for me. Knows when to have a laugh and when is go time!

Being on the relaxed 'Set' is important as you can still be learning whilst watching the others perform and learn how a real set would work and what you'd need to know.

Awesome course. With very skilled and experienced people helping me through my steps in the industry.
Have enjoyed every second of it and I indeed keep the best memories, tips and teachings from it to move forward in my career.
