Fabric description is misleading (and customer service won't solve problem)
I ordered for 60€ worth of fabric that was described as being 4-way stretch and ideal for sportswear. One piece had barely 15% stretch both ways - totally unsuitable for common sportswear (usually around 50 - 60% stretch). The other (described as super-stretchy) had indeed 50% horizontal stretch but not even 5% vertically. How is that a 4-way stretch fabric? It's less than some "non-stretch" woven fabrics!!! I contacted customer support, even taking the time to make a custom video using the standard industry test for elasticity (taking a section of fabric (usually 10cm/4inches at rest) and measuring it stretched), who told me that "Testing elasticity should be done on the whole length of the fabric". So basically, if you want more stretch you have to buy a longer piece of fabric?!? That's idiotic: a person's body won't change length! I'm shocked that a company selling fabric would not know industry standards (or would try to con customers into thinking they are wrong...). Buying fabric over the internet is complicated enough as it is without having to deal with misleading descriptions.
