From my very first consultation with Ceara, I knew I was in good hands. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. She answered all of my questions and made the whole process easy from the very beginning.

The installation itself was excellent. Donnacha, the team leader, was professional, organised, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the job. He and the team were courteous, hardworking, and clearly take great pride in their work.

A special mention also goes to the roofing team, who did a fantastic job. They worked efficiently, were respectful of my home, and left everything spotless when they finished. The quality of workmanship is second to none.

From the first consultation to the final installation, the service from Active8 has been exceptional. It’s rare to come across a company where every member of the team is so professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction.

I was looking forward to my installation, I found the company very professional and was confident I had signed up with the correct company so I was so disappointed with the actual installation.
They forgot to bring the DC cables so could not complete the job. The inverter etc is wall mounted and the ducting work was poorly sealed with excessive sealant visible as well as the ducts being off true to the wall.
Also you'd expect for them to come back and finish the job the next day but no I was told ten days due to availability. Sorry I can't recommend Activ8.

In my opinion best in the business by far. Took less than 8 hrs to carry out work on two storey house. Wouldn’t know they were in the place. Three other suppliers fitted solar panels in our estate (27houses) all took more than one day.
Best of all I did not have to bend down to pick up the smallest piece of wire or off cut. Took all rubbish with them. Also staff at HQ couldn’t be more helpful.

Punctual polite efficient and genuine efficient service what more could a person need

We gave it 4* would have gave the crew 5 only the crew was late arriving and the roofing crew broke some clips attaching to the gutter fortunately I had some spare clips to give them otherwise they would have to drive to the hardware store !

Electricians arrived promptly as arranged and Niall informed me of their plan in the installation . However I was never consulted on where the large board was planned in the attic , however when I went up to the attic at approx 10.30 ( I was enquiring of the lad working in the attic if he needed refreshments as the temperatures were high ) I got a shock to see the large board was positioned in the middle of the floored area ( only 1/2 of the attic is floored for my safety and use ) . I asked the lad why didn’t he position it along the wall (approx 5 foot away ) and could it be changed ? His reply was the system wouldn’t be completed that day if it needed to be repositioned .
I also told Niall I wasn’t happy with the position of the large board .

The work man and woman were very helpful and professional in there work, explained how to deal with the app and left the work area clean and I was very happy with the work and service.

Despite a considerable outlay, the work was impeccable and crew excellent and very professional. The 12 panels were ground installed with no issues and the generation efficiency excellent. Customer service fantastic.

From start to finish awful customer experience original Sales Rep quoted with VAT? (solar is VAT exempt) Very suspicious -clearly trying to inflate sales commission (via higher Margin),his quote was scribbled on a refill pad when I asked for officical quote by email, advised ''I wouldnt need one''.
Installation day (1 electrician shows up for a 2 man job) (crew of 2 for ground mount) - advised a 5 man crew would be sent altogether by customer support.
Eddy Request: Asked for 2 eddy diverts advised by and noted on my account notesthat this request would be completed at no extra cost. Just 1 eddy fitted and still only 1, the installation electrician said he ''couldnt do it'' and that i didnt need as i was generating solar to heat the tank upstairs.
Admin errors: No MC6 form sent to ESB - no microgenartion yield credits appearing on SSE bill) ESB inform me now that nothing sent to them from Activ8 since my solar install - so i will lose the yield euro value.
Contact: Calling multiple times today to no answer, no callback offered , no whats app response to my message yesterday to which i was assured there would be, as long as I shared my MPRN.Still await contact.

Fast and efficient and pleasant to deal with.
Rafa was great at explaining the system and how to operate it.

They came on appointed time, Install was good. Clean up when going. So no problem.

I have lots of solar panels on my roof ,I have no hot water all summer,they are only seven years old and after paying upfront to active8,I am told that I should upgrade to a complete new system,
I explained this to them ,they have not returned my call.

The engineer's were very professional using good information about installation. They were very polite and got on with their work and kept me up-to-date on there progress.

Good contact with Activ8 via Johanna Nolan. You used early opportunity to install our batteries.
We have found you a good company to deal with c/w neat and efficient installations of attic equipment and roof panels.

The staff were extremely helpful & great workers. The work was outstanding.
