Incredible Achray House. Food , wine, service and accommodation to die for. All food is 5*+ and freshly cooked (so don’t bleet if you have to wait; want fast food ? Find a MacDonalds! Staff, Lora and Claire go above and beyond to make you and your pooch welcome.

I got married on the grounds of Achray House, on the banks of Loch Earn. The staff made us feel very welcome and catered to our needs right from the get-go. They even allowed me to leave gifts on everyone's bed before anyone checked in.

The evening before the wedding, we were allowed to have friends from a neighboring hotel over for drinks and playtime. We played parlour games outside until dusk, when a lone deer unexpectedly came to bless our union.

The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and aware of the weather forecast, checking in multiple times throughout the morning to confirm we were okay with having the ceremony outside, despite my father's insistence that it be held indoors.

The tables were set up for post-paddleboarding pastries and later rearranged for dinner and an evening buffet. Everything was elegant, and the atmosphere was truly lovely. The chef created a unique vegan-only option and catered superbly for all of our guests with allergies.

Our friend even brought his dog to stay, and the staff provided him with multiple walking routes that we got to tag along on. We were absolutely delighted to discover the spectacular views that each path offered, especially those of the magnificent Loch Earn sitting there in all its splendid glory. Such an award-winning view. Needless to say, we took many photos.

Achray House will forever hold a special place in my heart. They created not only a beautiful moment in my life, but they also took care of us and welcomed us wholeheartedly. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made us feel at home. Their attention to detail and genuine care ensured that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Whether it was providing walking routes for our friend’s dog or recommending local attractions, every gesture made us feel valued and cherished. The stunning views of Loch Earn and the serene atmosphere added to the magic of our stay. We left with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the wonderful experience Achray House provided.

Laura and the team at Achray House were fantastic and really made our day go smoothly. Achray House is a wonderful venue for a smaller wedding (we had 34 day guests) and the lochside views are amazing. It was a really comfortable three nights, the food was excellent, as was the service, and all the guests had a great time. Particular shout out to the general manager Claire who was great in coordinating many aspects on our big day.

We just got back from a night away at this hotel and had a lovely time. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and know the good from the bad. We stayed on Sunday night and booked a meal there that evening which was very tasty and well prepared. The service there from the waiting and bar staff was extremely welcoming and professional. They really made you feel at home. The lady who either owns the hotel or is the general manager was very attentive and we had some good conversations with her. There was a hiccup at breakfast that was not their fault and they refunded us for that and even phoned us later to further apologise which was fantastic. The room itself (room 9) overlooked the Loch and had a couple of windows. Sky TV with things like BBC iPlayer and a reasonably fast internet for streaming Apple TV and such like. The room was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. I work in Edinburgh every year for a number of weeks and my girlfriend comes up to stay for a long weekend and we tend to travel in to the wilds of Scotland for a night away and a nice meal. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. It's quiet, super friendly and very professional with a nice welcoming feel to the whole environment and the food is well above average. We would tend to chose a different hotel and area to stay on this yearly occasion but we have both agreed to go back there next year. Well done again to all the staff.
