NATIONAL MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR EMERGENCY MEDICINE

ACEP is the national professional organization of physicians who specialize in Emergency Medicine. ACEP effectively represents its members and patients before Congress and the Executive branch. Though ACEP's affiliated state organizations it advocates for emergency medicine and patients at the state and local level.
ACEP publishes important clinical guidelines and provides timely continuing medical education for its members and all practicing physicians.
