Pointless and terrible app

Awful service. Hard to use impossible to get dates you need for your visit.

In short utterly pointless and since installing the app I've not once been able to get the dates i require for visits to the parks.

App not fit for purpose. Currently 370th in line to access the page.

We were completely lied to by Legoland!

We were completely lied to by Legoland.

We were told that Ride Access Passes are released exactly 48 hours before your visit. For example, if you’re visiting on 5th August, you’re expected to join the RAP queue in the app and be on the live booking system ready to book as soon as the passes are released at exactly 10:00am, being 48 hours before the park opens.

I’ve put this to the test on multiple occasions. I’ve joined the app at the correct time (normally around 09:45am), only to find that no passes are released at 10:00am despite being ready in the live booking system. Every available date remains greyed out, making it impossible to book.

The app is simply not fit for purpose. It promises a booking system that doesn’t appear to work as described, leaving families who genuinely rely on Ride Access Passes frustrated and disappointed.

Merlin really need to step up their game and improve this system and create an app that people can actually use. Until then, it deserves nothing more than a 1-star rating. It’s a frustrating, pointless and virtually impossible app to use!

Impossible to use

It is impossible to get a slot as they are always sold out. The whole point of the pass is that people with disabilities can go out for a day safely. It's ridiculous they only realise a certain amount and "once they are gone, they are gone" because I don't need a pass for fun but for serious health issues! It's crazy they can limit the amount of disabled people being able to enjoy a day out

The fact that Merlin has created a…

The fact that Merlin has created a separate page to avoid negative reviews on their home page, says it all.

Would a restaurant create a page just to filter negative reviews of the soup?

Merlin are abhorrent, the theme parks are woefully behind maintenance, and their contempt for customers is astounding.

AVIOD Merlin

I bought a merlin annual passes for my family, we did many trips to multiple attractions tried without RAP, with meltdowns and sensory rooms were not suitable or queue wait times. 1 out of my 2 children has neurodiversity needs, he really struggled, so i applied it got accepted, merlin has change their policy basically saying ASD/ADHD is not accepted. Not only have they made trips unbearable for my family and other families, they have broke the equality act 2010

Wrong Decision Merlin

The changes to the Ride Access Pass are shocking

My son can't stand in crowds or queues for periods of time, a sensory room or calming space are not going to help.

Interesting that the day after Merlin announced changes, Drayton Manor have issued a release that states we are not changing our accessibility requirements and all are welcome.

Wonder how more will follow Drayton Manor
