Academia-research.com
Academia-research.com, hands down one of the worst in the industry, giving its writers nothing short of a nightmare with hefty, unjustified fines. And don't get me started on their arrogant support, never ready to address issues with an ounce of neutrality when they inevitably crop up. It's like dealing with damn thieves in academic research—rotten goons stealing $500 from struggling writers and expecting top-tier quality.
Unjust fines and rude staff. Checking for Ai with naked eyes
Academia research is under siege by a few uncouth crooks who have no shame in calling themselves "staff'. I am dissatisfied with how you handle writers because many have tried to raise some pressing complaints but you have not made an effort to address them. Some of your staff are not trained to handle human beings, they should consider working as Vets or Plant Operators so that they can handle animals or machines. Liam to be specific. It would be fair if you communicate to writers the specific tool that the company uses to check for AI-generated content because the notion of checking for Ai by use of naked eyes in a bid to export hundreds of dollars from writers is very unprofessional and should be considered criminal. Plus, your rude staff do not give writers the chance to argue their cases, instead, you threaten them with punitive sanctions despite the fact that they are right and have provided proof for some of the allegations that you lay upon them. The idea of always siding with the customer without allowing the writer to give their side of the story is unjust and very demeaning. If this greed for money continues, everyone else will refrain from working for academia research and the company will find itself in a roller coaster to bankruptcy.

Incompetent QAD Team
Recently, the company has developed a tendency of penalizing writers unjustly. Being experienced in this industry and working with multiple companies, I do understand policies and rules related to plagiarism or submitting AI generated content. With Academia Research, they are taking advantage of the situation and penalizing writers harshly because of such. Which law allows 500% fine?? Again, who uses human eyes to detect AI. The organization is totally becoming biased, especially from QAD team. Where do 500% fine go, especially when the client was satisfied with the work done by the writer? Which AI detector tool do they use and why is it hard for them to attach AI report after making their decisions? Writers are human beings too. They matter to the company.

Overall services are great
First of all, not happy with the negative reviews, which I belief is from a spamming person where all these were posted almost the same day.
Second, I can say the overall services are great, good cpp at a times can reach up to $12 per page for high level accounts (Top Premium and First Class). However, this is different for low level accounts, which can get up to $3 CPP, but, I think this is to motivate everyone to deliver quality work. If you deliver quality work, you got nothing else to worry about.
Another thing, they are pretty keen about AI, posing up to $500 fine in case such a thing is noticed. Many will not agree with this, but, client pay for human written content, otherwise, they can just use chatgpt to write the content themselves. Also, the support team in the website is always ready to help, and not to forget account manager (Emma), but, QAD is quite tough, meaning they are no nonsense when it comes to quality. All I think is that if you do a quality work, you get paid, and you got nothing to worry about. And by the way, whether it is 10$ or 1500$, they always pay on time, and in case of any delays, they always include a notice on the website's news section.

Poor Working Conditions and Lack of Ethics
Lately, AcademianResearch has established itself as one of the most inprofessionally managed companies online. From QAD to the Support Team, the company is being run the wrong way, with workers being punished through fines imposed in the most unjust manner. Most of the policies are only designed to suit the Company with less or no regard to the workers. This has led to many workers losing their hard-earned money without clear explanations. It is time for Academia Research to change and start considering its employees as a crucial part of the Company and its daily activities.

This company was once great with a very honest and dedicated staff. However, there are a few rotten elements like a one Liam whose sole motivation seems to witch-hunt and impose heavy fines on writers without justification. Being fined $500 for submitted work worth $5 is highly despicable and unprofessional. It's a BIG SCAM!

Extremely poor working environment
I myself have been a freelancer on this site for 3 years. Since last year, the site has become a slave like environment with liam and his cronies threatening writers with account closure and absurd fines. Lol who does not like waking up with a -500 dollar fine a day before payments with an accompanying letter from almighty liam that since he was born, he has never seen such incompetence and unprofessionalism; i.e since 1967 or whatever year this evil person was born. So be wary working on this platform...and whoever can in Academia itself...get rid of those pimps in QAD and lets get our site back!!!
Toxic Work Environment at Academia Research
Academia Research has become very toxic to its workers. The support imposes hefty and unreasonable fines to its writers, with no reason at all. If the writer complains or asks about the fine, another fine is imposed, and their rank dropped. Talk of the poor pay per page, yet clients pay even upto $70 a page. Writers are paid as low as 2$ a page. Whenever a client is impressed and leave a tip for the writer, the support only give 1% of the tip to the writer, and they keep the rest. Need I mention the stupid ranking system?? It is all very frustrating

Financial Exploitations
Academia Research has earned a reputation for dubious operations, often compared to those of a rogue entity, by imposing excessive fees on authors for purported misuse of artificial intelligence. The practice of demanding $500 for tasks valued at $5 or less defies logic and ethical standards. Authors disputing these charges face threats of harsher fines, demotion, or even account closure. This platform, notorious for its exploitative nature, should be approached with caution by freelancers. The conduct of its staff, marked by a lack of professionalism and disregard for writer welfare, contributes to a toxic working atmosphere. Writers are encouraged to steer clear of Academia Research to protect their professional integrity and respect for their work.
Unethical Practices
The platform known as Academia Research has become synonymous with unethical practices, mirroring the operations of a nefarious organization by levying unfounded and steep charges against authors under the pretense of artificial intelligence misuse. Imposing a fine of $500 for assignments worth $5 or less is not only illogical but also lacks moral integrity. Authors who challenge these unfounded claims are met with threats of increased penalties, demotion, or even the extreme measure of account termination. Freelancers considering this platform for opportunities should be wary, as it is rife with self-serving individuals and contains staff members who often behave unprofessionally, showing little regard for the writers' rights and dignity. Academia Research fosters a hostile work environment, exploiting the vulnerabilities of its writers. It is advisable to avoid this ethically deficient platform to preserve one's professional integrity and respect for their craft.
Unrealistic fines
Unjust, unfair and inhumane fines of upto $500 are being imposed to writers with claims that the work is AI generated. These people are thieves!!! Writers are paid as low as $3 while the client makes a payment of more than $30 for a one page work. Run away from this company and don't think twice. It will save you your mental health
Unhealthy working environment with…
Unhealthy working environment with hefty fines of upto 500 dollars for a $3 worth paper, rude support and QAD, and lack of a fair environment where writers can air their predicaments without being threatened with account closure or more fines. Emmah (account manager) please do something about this.

Academia Research is Managed and Run by Goons and Thieves
The worst writing service ever. Mistreatment of writers, who fyi, mostly reside in third world countries. Writers are penalized hefty fines, normally hundreds of dollars, equivalent to a month's salary from the site, based on 'uncertain' claims of AI-generated content from normally just a single site. The writers efforts to explain themselves and even provide reports from other sites justifying their hard and original work is thrown to **** with threats of even bigger fines. The quality assurance department is extremely rude to writers and have occasionally been found guilty of rating writers negatively, so they have a reason to fine and demote writers. The support is equally rude and never give a **** about the writers, especially if the client raises an issue. They'll threaten you and fine you even if you are not at fault. The only reason we are leaving reviews here is because, if they tie any complaint to you, they'll come after your writers account. Horrible service, that's all. Whenever you use this site, just know there's an underpaid Kenyan somewhere who probably won't even get the pennies they are given, guess why, it's been deducted in fines.
Poor and unfair treatment of writers.
Before 2022, Academia Research was among the best companies i know. Now since the inception of AI, AR has developed a habit of harassing writers and being uncouth on how they communicate. writers are unjustly treated while customers are overpriced while writers are paid peanuts.
1. Regardless of the customers' satisfaction with a 10 out of 10 rating, writers are being fined up to 500 times of the original pay (500%) due to claims of AI generated work. there are no mediums for writers to be helped since it is an online working space. How can a writer get a good rating and positive feedback from the client but be penalized heavily by support, qad, and management ? does that even make sense for sure? Writers are spending sleepless days and nights to ensure the clients attain best grades. when support or qad is asked for the AI-reports, they indicate their decision is final!!!!! seriously? since we cant sue the company from where we are, we expect thorough investigation to help address the matter.
2. You don't even want to know the crazy prices customers are charged while the writers are paid 0.1 or 0.05 of the pricing. You will cry !!!. if tipped, a writer is only given at most $10 yet some customers leave up to $100 tips aside from the original pay.
3. You don't even want to see how qad responds to writers inquiry. At least support (majority) and management (Emma) are a bit professional. am wondering, how does one with a company where qad are ever rude and threatening the workforce.
4. Writers are always geting delayed responses from management but when it comes to making hefty fines, it is where they draw the line as it is instant. How can one survive in such an environment?
Scam! Scam!
I am a living witness of how writers are mistreated and threatened to work submissively. A one-page order will be fined upto $500 and they fake reason for it like AI or grammar even when the customer is contented with the work and rated the paper 10/10. QAD is very arrogant. Writers are poorly ranked and discrimination in order availability. Customer pays more upto $100 for a page and a writer only gets only $3.8, which will also be fine $500 and more, while you have people who depend on you like kids and wife for a living.

Academia Research QAD are thieves
Academia Research are thieves. They pay writers 4 to 5 dollars per page and latter their QAD come to fine you 500 to 600 dollar on issues related to AI. If you provide evidence, they threaten you with account closure. Their QAD are very evil. They promote slavery

AR experience
Pros: The company has a good payment structure, but can occasionally be late with the salary releases.
Cons:
Unnecessary fines, some being more than 500% of the cost of the work. In most, there is little explanation on the cause for the fine, or are vague.
Very rude support. Although some are warm, most, including the Quality Assurance Department meant to mediate between client and writer, are very rude. Particularly, the support and QAD never want to be corrected, creating a toxic atmosphere, reducing writers to beggars/slaves
