Strap in, buckle up
Strap in, buckle up, get ready for some of the rudest customer service you’ll ever hear. I wanted to buy some hinges ($260) and saw the hinges on amazon in Uk but thought I would support a smaller company again. (We had done business before). I was told the hinges were in stock and would be with me in a week. They didn’t arrive and I had to contact them to inform them. They told me about a week later the hinges would arrive in about six more weeks. The hinges arrived and I rang them to organise shipping. I explained the situation and it would have been nice to get an apology. Richard on the phone told me that I should be thanking him for fulfilling my chicken sh#t order that he didn’t even want. He said his supplier didn’t care about his business or mine. When I asked him to be less angry he said I should be more thick skinned! He said we had never done business (we had, I just changed my email). He said I should have ordered 6 months ago. How is this company in business? If you go on a customer care course I imagine this would be an example of the opposite of good customer service!
