So far I’m very pleased with this timepiece. It looks and feels like a good quality watch, especially for the price. I plan on to extend my collection with some other pieces!

Trully, this is an absolutely good looking watch. There is attention to detail on the dial, easy on and off system for the straps, free engraving on a beautiful case. I'm for sure coming back to the company for another watch. I only experienced one problem. The Nato Honeycomb strap, which is the original strap for the watch, started to show wear and tears way earlier than i expected , about a month after wearing it, not everyday. I also own a g-shock in a cloth strap and after wearing it in the gym, sea and casually everyday for about a year, the strap is showing no wears at all so i figured this one wouldn't to. I thought maybe mine was faulty so i contacted the company and they told me this is normal wear and tear for this kind of strap so i guess you should expect it. Just to be clear, nothing that makes the watch unwearable, just some cloth popping out at the holes and the edge of the strap that if you were to pay attention it wouldn't look so good for a 399 euro watch.
All in all the service, the packaging and the watch were all very carefully made and delivered to the customer, with the only kind of dissapointment being the strap. That's why i cannot give it anything less than a 5/5

The watch was exactly as advertised and I was extremely happy with my purchase.
The steel strap was the only problem I had, it was very short but two links more will suffice for me when I have it altered but maybe not for others. I purchased an extra leather strap and this was adequate but still a touch on the short side.

The watch looks so elegant with the brown leather , i got a lot of compliments about it

The watch is really lovely to look at. Very pretty!! I was just a little surprised that there is no date on it. But it’s not A problem for me. I really love the looks. Very happy!

When I looked at their products I decided to buy the 1844,a beautiful Chrono which came in a nice wooden box and an extra strap for free as part of their anniversary celebration. The watch arrived fast and well packaged but without the extra strap. I contacted customer service and encountered some difficulties. After a few emails I finally met someone who understood my problem and went ahead and fixed it. I was sent the missing/promised strap and could choose an additional one for the inconveniences I had to go through. Now, I didn't ask for another one and would have been fine with receiving what I was promised but they send me a second band anyways! Now that I call customer service! After my initial disappointment and anger I can now wholeheartedly recommend these guys and their products! It took a few emails but in the end they honored their promise and commitment! Great job!👍👍👍

The watch itself is gorgeous. Beautifully finished with a look that really says vintage. Shipping was fast and packaging is top notch.
I took away one star because the bezel doesn't align perfectly with the 12 on the dial.

Watch was exactly as described, shipping was astonishingly fast. The hardware on the extra band was yellow gold, which is disappointing since it doesn't match the watch. If they mentioned that in the fine print, I missed it.

The deployant clasp is flimsy and will not close properly. I have owned many watches with this style of “butterfly” clasp, but this is very cheaply made and not at all secure

I really thought the watch looked amazing online…and then it arrived. It’s even better than online. I very rarely write a review on anything, but I felt compelled. I already own a Rolex submariner, and a Tudor gmt, and the quality of my new 1956 marine is a match for them in every single way. The quality is amazing, packaged beautifully, and looks amazing.

Bought a 1964 Horizon - Blue on brown leather, based on nothing other than looks. I didnt know much about the company, nor did i do excessive research or the typical youtube reviews. I bought it not knowing much about them because i loved the way the watch looked. I have some significantly higher priced swiss made watches to compare to and quality feels above it's price point. I also have some in this price range that do not come close ion comparison. This out of the box was impressive in looks and feel. It is absolutely gorgeous. Shipping to the US took a total of 3 days to arrive from time of order, which in itself is impressive. I am eyeing other watches from About Vintage as well and based on this experience, will be acquiring those in the near future as well.

I received my 349€ clock with the wrong engraving. Now i’m waiting for the response to the email for the refund / exchange, and i will delete this review if the company refunds me totally or if they send me a new clock with the right engraving. I really hope they will refund me the expedition costs too, if i need to send back the clock.

Edit: the company sent me the part with the correct engraving in 2 days. I’m happy about the custom service.

The shipping was really fast! The package would have actually been with me within three days, but I had a few issues with DHL, which caused the package to be sent back to AboutVintage. However, the customer service from AboutVintage is on another level. They kept me updated and helped me get my package by sending it to me again. Big shoutout to Nikoline! I think the company has everything perfectly under control!

Now, I’m finally looking forward to holding my watch in my hands soon and will gladly order from AboutVintage again!

For me, it was a great experience, aside from the small DHL mishap, which was solely DHL’s fault.
