I appreciate the reasonable cost of placing the job ad. It went up right away without any delay. My only suggestion would be to offer shorter duration. Thought the ad itself gives a deadline, the fact... See more

Thank you for asking us to give you a review.
The process to posting on the job board was fairly easy,
the only problem we are having is that nobody has applied for the
position, therefore we are not sure if the board works.

Thank you

Hi Liz,
Thanks so much for your feedback. That is definitely not the sort of thing that is normal for this board, so I am completing a review of how you submitted your post to the site to see what may be stopping individuals from applying.

Here are some tips to increase attraction:

1. Open up the geographic region to allow individuals who may be driving in to your region know that you are interested in hiring them.
2. You currently have your application preference set as "Submit directly to your email address". Was this intentional? Have you checked your junk mail? I will add another option to increase access to our candidates.
3. In the current post-covid labour shortage, your strict hiring, screening, and compensation model may need a review. In other roles previously posted on the site, we have seen an average of $20 with full-time hours being offered. This is without the driving element. Your offer of $15 for an experienced cleaner that has a clean driving record and a clean background check (requested before the interview is to take place) is most likely the primary reason you are not seeing results. Most job seekers with this skillset and record are looking for positions that exceed $25-$30 per hour. As a benchmark, an entry-level worker at Mcdonald's with no screening or experience will start at $15.50.

We are here to help. If you would like to reach out directly, please know that we would be happy to continue to showcase your role with or without any changes to the Canadian Indigenous community, but have no control over whether or not they will find the role interesting.

My rating is based on the response time in completing the job posting and online website user-friendliness and service effectiveness. So far very happy with the service.
