I have emailed Abode Jungle 5 times in the last two weeks about a refund but there has been no reply.
The chat service on the website doesn't work, there is no telephone line, and the UK address listed in Poole in dubious in my opinion.
I would suggest that any new customers potentially looking to use this company should be aware that if you’re not happy with the product for any reason or it is damaged it will be near enough impossible to get a refund. At this point in time, I am going to lose over £100.
Non-existent after sales support. Suggest avoiding.
Buy from a UK brand, you might pay twice as much but there is an option to return, Dunelm, B&Q, Next, John Lewis Etc.

I've been waiting for a parcel for a month, and no one can tell me exactly where it is. They just keep putting me off. The tracking number they sent me to check the parcel doesn't work. I asked for a refund but they didn't reply. I've had enough of this company, it's a joke, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

This company are fraudsters! They sell cheap, poor quality items at a premium price. Non-existent after sale and 100% money guarantee on their website is a scam - they don’t return any funds voluntarily so I am pursuing chargeback.

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality Products & Unreliable Service
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Abode Jungle has been frustrating enough that I feel compelled to warn others.
I placed an order for Salgado LED downlights based on the website’s claims of premium quality — and the premium price tag of over £100 per unit. What I received was shockingly subpar: items arrived scratched, packed in flimsy plastic, with metal shavings inside the packaging, visible discoloration, and an overwhelming chemical odour. They arrived from China, something that the company does not transparently disclose. The product also did not match the photos on the website, with exposed hollow sections not shown online.
Customer service initially responded (after 3 days) with an apology and promised to provide return instructions and issue a refund. That was over two days ago, and I have received no further communication despite following up.
To make matters worse, the second part of my order was marked as "delivered" today in Shopify app — but nothing has arrived at my address.
This has been a deeply disappointing and concerning experience, both in terms of product quality and after-sales service. I will be pursuing a chargeback through my bank if I don't hear from them within 48 hours.
I strongly advise others to proceed with caution before ordering from this company.

I ordered lights from Abode Jungle in January and paid the express shipping so that they arrived on time. We needed them for a show in March. They didn't arrive until 1st April so we had to buy additional lights for the show and wanted to return the lights to Abode Jungle.
I have since sent 5 emails, 1 direct message on instagram, messages via the online chat, and have had NO response. We still have the lights which are no use, and are $1,325 out of pocket.
If one of their team would like to get in touch and accept our return and give us a refund, I will happily take this review down.

I ordered some lights on the 21st March. No where before ordering did it say it takes a month to be delivered! I finally received the order on the 18th April after numerous emails and no replies.
I fitted them on the 29th April and only one of them was functioning! I have sent numerous emails since then to no avail. Like various reviews below, there is no contact number and the live chat is just a bot! Absolutely avoid this shambles of a ‘company’. The address also provided is for a storage unit! Makes we wonder that the other reviews are fake!
SCAM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I’m updating here again because unfortunately, Trustpilot is the only place where Abode Jungle actually responds. Despite multiple emails since January, I was ignored for weeks at a time — but as soon as I left a 1-star review, I finally got a reply.
I purchased a light fixture in May 2024, installed it in January 2025, and immediately contacted them when we discovered it didn’t work. They acknowledged the product was defective and promised a replacement. That never arrived. Then they completely stopped replying for 21 days — until I posted a review.
Here’s what they wrote when they finally did respond:
“To help us address your concerns more effectively, could you please consider removing the Trustpilot review for now? Once that's done, we can discuss the available options for your order, including processing the refund you requested.”
This is absolutely unacceptable. Asking me to delete my review before offering a solution is not how any legitimate company should operate.
After weeks of delays and still no return label or refund, They forced me to chargeback through my bank. Builders and homeowners: beware — this is not a professional or reliable company to work with.

They have failed to refund £488 of returned lights. They do not respond to any email or chat about refunds. Avoid this illegitimate online store.

Avoid like the plague.. light fixtures look beautiful, however faulty products sent that would’ve caused a house fire had my electrician fitted them (due to vault). Then incorrect product sent with another light I had ordered - have been going back and forth with them for over 2 months and still no resolve - majority of the time they ignore me. No refund, no correct product sent out. From what I’ve since read, they are con artists!

Waste of time
Poor communication regarding the light fittings, which are sourced directly from China, resulted in a long wait time.
Luckily, I paid with a credit card and recovered the full amount.

Product quality doesn’t match the price. Items clearly were coming from China and not the Netherlands which was the “manufacturer” in all of the paperwork. Massive red flag was the return address - a storage unit! After they kept ignoring my refund request. I submitted a claim to my bank who processed the refund asap. 4 months down the line they still are fighting with Adobe Jungle to settle the case.

Ordered four lamps, and they were supplied in an ali express box. From research, this is a PO box located in Dorset, and it appears they drop-ship straight from China. From looking online, it is clear that they originated from AliExpress. The fittings are very poor quality. Requested a refund and no response. They charge very expensive prices so you assume high quality but this is not the case. Don't use this company

I sent a email on 19/03/2025 asking for your returns and full refund together with proof that only one item was opened. The lack of response is appalling if there is a issue with the item.
