We just sold our narrowboat through ABNB. Very pleased with their service. We were kept fully informed at all times. On the day of sale the whole process was completed smoothly within a few hours. Quite amazing given that we are in Australia and there is a 10 hour time difference!

ABNB Boat Brokerage

The passage of information by the brokerage was excellent particularly as the sale period was during the COVID Pandemic and we were in Spain, so communication could only be by email.

At all times we were kept informed by progress until a buyer was found. During very difficult times, they have excelled and I would not hesitate in recommending their services.

We were just passing the brokerage and had no intention of buying a NB to replace ours at the time, however we saw what is now our replacement boat, they guided us through the viewings and arranged a test to enable us to make an informed decision with no pressure.

We managed to arrange finance to purchase the boat fairly quickly, I would recommend them as a brokerage.

Whilst there was a misunderstanding with a viewing, ABNB were quick to rectify the situation and considering we were viewing during lockdown, things haven't been easy all round.
The buying process was handled efficiently and what we do like is that the boat brochures contain every piece of information you could possibly want, far more info than most other brokers.

If I was ever to buy another narrowboat from a broker I would not choose one that was still moored at a different location miles from the brokers office. On a number of conversations requests and questions seemed to be either not answered or changed in the process making the process harder and more stressful than necessary.

Good quick efficient service
Despite the restrictions imposed by covid sale was handled efficiently the brochure produced have good images and clear descriptions.

Very smooth from start to finish. The clincher for me was the returnable deposit unlike some other brokers. Will definitely use again.

Very helpful and informative (as one not used to selling boats), particularly in the middle of a lock-down, unable to be present. All the staff replied promptly to queries and requests for help, such as "can you fix someone to clean the outside". And the result was very quick and "sufficient". I was fascinated to find that narrow boats, too, are sold in 64ths.

Even though they acted for the seller, as a buyer I am very happy with my purchase (Sea Otter Oct 2020).
