Good and service and very helpful and informative staff

Staff very friendly I had a slight problem with my new scooter ( buggy) it was delt with and i am very satisfied with the outcome I will use them again for all my needs all staff are very helpful

I visited the shop in Newport (Shropshire) last Saturday 20th June along with a friend who was looking for a new road scooter. We were attended to by Lindsay and Lisa who literally could not have been more helpful.
The two ladies were very helpful and despite the scorching weather, they brought a number of scooters from the store, set up a small manoeuvring course and allowed us to test drive the ones we liked. Their product knowledge was excellent and answered all my questions fully. In the end, I realised that my old scooter (over 5 years old), had been superceded by a number of more comfortable and more manoeuvrable options and I decided to upgrade.
In conclusion, can you please pass on my congratulations to the team at the Newport store, their humour and customer support were a credit to the company! Well done!!

We went to Newport to buy a recliner and received excellent service. Sam the assistant manager was absolutely brilliant . He was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I paid a visit to the Newport (near Telford) branch today and asked about mobility scooters that would fit in my car. The lady that served me had a terrible attitude, she made me feel like I was wasting her time but in all honesty she wasted mine. I would not buy from there again, their customer service was a terrible experience, Train you staff for goodness sake..

As I'm shortly due a hip replacement, I have been looking for a Riser Recliner chair. I had initially looked at probably the most well known brand but then I checked Ableworld to find their chairs were half the price. Worth a look I thought!

They quickly sized me up and offered me a couple of chairs which both felt great and I spent ages trying to decide between them. Lisa, the sales lady was absolutely fantastic as are all the staff at this branch, nothing was too much trouble as I flip flopped back and forth.

I decided to mull things over for a few days, a chair is a lot of money and I wanted to be sure. Checking online I found Ableworld listed a different back style variant of one of the ones I had tried - so they very kindly arranged to get one transferred into the shop so I could literally try them side by side.

In the meantime, the chair came in but they hadn't got any contact phone for me so Lisa took it upon herself to send me a letter telling me the chair was in! That's service.

The conclusion is I went over and spent an hour swapping seats until it became apparent which one I liked the most (the one they got in special - the Cheshire Riser Recliner with Lateral Support back ) and finally, I placed the order!

The chair is British made, felt exactly the same quality as ones twice the price from elsewhere and the service was incredible. Thank you to Lisa and your colleagues for making my experience so good - and we also had a good laugh in the process. I shall send you a photo of me in it when it arrives!

For some reason, not sure why, I had never considered going to Ableworld, it was only after visiting a company in Birmingham the need for a coffee turned into this retail park in Newport Shropshire that I saw Ableworld after a coffee thought “why not” I had a type of Mobility scooter in mind and was impressed by Lisa who explained everything to me, showed how it folded etc when we discussed my requirements I was shown a model with suspension and gave it a test drive, being honest it was so much better in every way. I cannot express my gratitude to both female sales personnel, in future Ableworld will be my first stop and ONLY stop, thank you everyone at Ableworld Newport Shropshire.

Absolutely excellent branch. Was served by Mark, he was tentive and extremely helpful, gave us a great demo on the mobility scooters, we explained our needs and he quickly identified the ideal model for us, he processed the purchase quickly and helped us to load the car. Definitey recommend this branch.

We went to the store in Newport Shropshire. The visit was previously arranged so the store had time to obtain a sample of what we were after. All went according to plan. We were helped by Lisa. She was informative, helpful, pleasant and fun. We came away with a product we wanted and smiling.

Fantastic service received today by Milly and Lyndsey at the Newport store. Both ladies helped us choose the right chair/beds for our requirements and were patient, kind and attentive. Lyndsey noticed that my wife’s wheelchair foot stands were not at the right height so adjusted them for us for her comfort. Amazing service all round and then some. Thank you. Alli and Kirsty.

Fabulous service today from Jacqui at the Newport store , she understood my mums needs and requirements when purchasing a rise and recline chair , thanks Jacqui I will recommend you to everyone that I know you will be able to help , many thanks Elaine and mum .

What an amazing experience. The most caring and helpful staff. After my mobility deteriorated this year, I decided to pop into Ableworld in Newport to have a browse. Oh my life. The information and help I received was second to none. No pressure at all and was able to try various scooters and riser/recliner chairs. Nothing was too much trouble for the girls...I was sent away to have a think about what would be best in my circumstances. Well, first came the stairlift, thank you to engineer Drew who did a fantastic job. Next, came the latest carbon fibre power chair which I can't recommend high enough. It's amazing! Then came the Wrenbury riser/recliner. Worth every penny and again, can highly recommend.
So then, thank you again girls, I now have some quality of life back. You are fantastic!

I took my Nan to check to try some new scooters has hers was too small and dying. They wasn't annoying customer service assistants, this lady came over asked if we was okay then left us alone, letting us know to ask if we needed her. We needed her and she let my nan try a scooter and took her outside down the road. She wasn't pushy and let us take our time and answered anything we needed. We purchased a scooter for £1600. She showed us how to take it apart and put back together. Excellent service. Her name was Sarah.

From start to finish a pleasant experience staff pleasant friendly and very professional nothing was too much trouble for them
Jacqui who served us was absolutely fantastic gave lots of advice and not pushy at all, she is a credit to ableworld and it shows she is a real people person and takes her job very seriously but most of all cares

Tilly showed and demonstrated the reclining chairs and 4 wheeled walking aids that I was interested in. I tried a variety of them and then chose the two items I wanted. It was a great experience thanks to Tilly. The items were delivered earlier than promised by 2 people who set up the chair and were very pleasant and helpful. A great experience!

Visited the Newport Shropshire store today to get my dad a chair suitable to help with his posture as he’s been struggling with severe pain due to sciatica.
The young lady (Tilly) was so very polite helpful and knowledgeable. Really comforting for my dad to have a friendly face helping him, as he was in excruciating pain at the time but her positive attitude really brightened his day. Thanks Tilly.

I purchased my first wheelchair today after speaking with Lindsey from the Newport Shropshire branch last week. I visited today. Accepting that I need one has been a tough decision. Lindsay made me so comfortable and understood my needs quickly and professionally.

Admitting that you need a mobility scooter is not a pleasant experience.
I went to Ableworld, Newport & stood surrounded by mobility equipment. Then I saw Tilly with a big smile & a welcome. I knew which scooter I wanted & she brought it out & the fun began. Tilly made everything bearable & she knew everything about all the products.
I didn't buy the scooter I thought I wanted. Thanks to her advice I chose a very stable & handsome one which was much more suitable for me.
We had a lovely morning with lots of laughter. My scooter is in the garage & I went to have a look at it before I wrote this review. I don't think of it as a backward step but an open door to more things that I can do which have been closed to me.

I was seved by lindsey today to get an electric wheelchair she was most helpful and guided me to the best product and I was very satisfied with the item and purchased it and she helped me to dismantle it and also loaded into the boot for me. I she was was great and great company . thankyou lindsey
