Purchase a crutch/walking stick bag.
Staff were very friendly and polite she listened to my request then went and got just the one I needed.
I was shown what the bag had to offer in the way of pockets/pouches and how to adjust the bag to fit on any wheelchair or scooter, pointing out where to place the sticks.
When I got to the till I was asked about my condition as this saved me the VAT.
I would recommend Ableworld , Lincoln for anything to do with 'disability because they have a wealth of knowledge and experience with different types of disabilities.
What appears to be good for one person doesn't always fit another.

Our first visit
Our first visit. The shop was clean and tidy. The assistant was very friendly and good at her job. She was very busy could have done with some help. Well satisfied.

Visited all the major mobility scooter…
Visited all the major mobility scooter shops with no previous experience. Staff were lovely but company policy not good as I later found out. Bought boot scooter but needed to travel over gravel drive. We found this struggles but told sorry we take nothing back and your issue as buyer. All after a couple of weeks of owning. In hindsight I wish we had used careco, Eden mobility or seacroft mobility as I later found out we could return product or at least trial at home before buying. Buyer beware good sales but total shocking after sales and will never use them again

The engineer Ryan was brilliant
The engineer Ryan was brilliant. He came to measure up and advise what to choose. Less than a week later he came to fit the stairlift. He fully explained how to use it.

My wife has a mobility scooter which…
My wife has a mobility scooter which was brought from able world in lincoln lincolnshire. It broke and it wouldn't work. It went in to be repaired and we paid for the repair to be done. We collected it and the first time she went to use it 'it wouldn't work. When my wife calling able world regards this , she was told to push it. How can this reply be appropriate when someone cant walk on there own with out oxygen at times to be told to push a mobility scooter when it breaks down.

Hi Dave, we do always try to fault find with a customer over the phone in the first instance of a fault being highlighted. In many cases, our over the phone support can resolve a lot of issues to help support our customers quickly, without the need for an engineer’s inspection.

Expert Help from Nick in Lincoln
Nick was patient and informative and offered me advice on the type of wheelchair I was interested in.
When I expressed interest in 3 types, he showed them to me and explained their features.
When I selected my preference, Nick showed me how to dismantle it and fitted it into the boot of my small car.

Ableworld Lincoln what a brilliant mobility store! The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I can always find what I need in there and if not they can get it for you. The prices are reasonable too. It’s the first place I think of if I need anything mobility related.

Adjusted my crutches to fit in The shop . I wasn't pressured into buying or rushed .
