Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

Susie of the Broxburn West Lothian Store was so helpful and made our purchase of 2 recline and rise chairs go like clockwork. We ordered them on a Monday and they were delivered on the Friday and assembled by two very capable gentlemen. The service of all concerned was exceptional!
Well done one and all.

My brother and I took my Dad to Ableworld in Broxburn to look at getting him a mobility scooter. Karen looked after us when we went. She was amazing, explained everything, answered all our questions, was attentive to my Dads needs and was patient when he was trying all the scooters. It made the experience a good one and we purchased a scooter after all her advice and help. Thank you Karen

A week past on Wednesday my mother had a stroke at home, which came as a shock to all of the family - even though she is 94 !
She was hospitalised, but soon began to show some signs of improvement.
While we were happy to trust the medical team to look after her, there were some things we needed to do ourselves and a.s.a.p., and one of them was to get a stairlift installed to help her get up and downstairs at home.
Having never had any dealings with stairlifts, I turned to Google to find some local stockists/installers - and that's how I came across Ableworld at Broxburn.
I had a look at their online presence and reviews, and decided to pay them a visit last Friday.
Suzie and Lee were very helpful in-store, took details of my requirements, and helped to show me and then narrow down the most appropriate options to suit our requirements. I was soon convinced that these people not only knew what they were talking about, but were keen to fully satisfy our requirements rather than just make a sale.
We arranged for Lee to visit my mother's house the following day (Saturday morning), to survey and measure the staircase in relation to our agreed requirements, and then hopefully move on to the next stage.
Lee turned up very promptly, and very professionally carried out his survey, taking time to explain things to us and answer any of our questions - enabling us to agree on the make and model which best suited our stairs and our mother's requirements.
I was then able to pay the deposit to Suzie over the phone to enable her to confirm our order. We were given an estimated delivery day of Wednesday, with installation the following day, Thursday.
Suzie and Lee kept us in the picture and were soon able to confirm the original delivery and instalment dates - and Lee then turned up with the stairlift on Thursday and installed it professionally and carefully, taking time to explain the various aspects of the use and care of the stairlift.
We are now ready for my mother getting home from hospital, and the stairlift will make a huge difference to her daily routine, allowing her to return to her home of 67 years.
All of this was achieved in less than a week, and we can only thank Lee and Suzie for helping us to deal quickly and successfully with a tricky and unfamiliar situation. We would strongly recommend Ableworld to anyone with any mobility or stairlift requirements.
Thank you, Lee and Suzie.

Went to Broxburn store to look at powered chairs after having a disastrous experience in a Fife supplier (not Ableworld) . I am very pleased to say the staff and the help are excellent with everything fully explained. Will certainly return when the need arises.

Excellent friendly, patient service by all staff. Gave helpful instruction and demonstration of riser chairs and mobility scooters with no sales pressure (very happy with both purchases!).

Really friendly staff who know their products. We bought a riser recliner chair for my mum and the staff at Broxburn were superb.

My son has lymphedema in both legs and the odema socks wouldn't even go on his feet. Odema socks can stretch upto 20 to 25cm but yours where just like a normal sock, the material was very good
