We were unsuccessful with 3 attempts, over nearly 4 months, to have these documents served by a Sheriff (outside of our state.) We even had to reschedule the court date twice because of service issues... See more

Superior job with communication and keeping me apprised

Easy to submit my request but my follow-up instruction about when to serve was not taken into consideration which led to a few unsuccessful attempts.

The process serber was amazing. She’s not the issue. My issue is with customer service. The worst ever !! Been calling 2-3 times a day regarding proof of service that was not mailed out. It’s been almost two weeks ! Everytime I call I get a different response. It was sent locally ? It was overnighted ? It was sent 3 times ? It was sent from WA ??? No one knows what’s going on. I paid EXTRA for expedited service and got nothing in the mail !!!!!!! The case could be thrown out if wet copy not sent to courthouse !!

The service was exceptional. I am so happy with the service and will tell the world.

This was my first time using a process server, and ABC Legal exceeded my expectations. Their website was easy to use, I received regular status updates, and everything was completed professionally and on time. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

My experience with ABC Legal Services has been an absolute nightmare. I hired them for process serving, and the process server provided virtually zero effort, claiming the individual didn't live at the address and referencing a conversation with an unnamed neighbor, without providing any physical description or required details.
It only got worse from there. Though a single fee is supposed to cover 3 attempt tries, they double-charged me immediately when asking to retry.
They reassigned the exact same process server, who simply copy-pasted the previous failed update at 3:00 AM including the exact same vague neighbor comment.
After recognizing the issue, I was promised a refund. It has now been almost two months. I have requested my refund twice and requested to speak with a supervisor, but no one has bothered to call me back.
They took my money, faked attempts, double-charged me, and have completely ignored my requests for a resolution. Save your money and hire a local private process server who actually does the job and respects their customers.

This company sucks. Their customer service is ridicules and non-existent. I have been requesting for a POS for a subpoena that we served seven days ago with no success. I've requested to talk to a supervisor which never happened. To this minute. I've not received a call or the POS or an explanation for the issue. This is not my first issue with ABC Legal. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone or any firm. If I could give this a zero star, I would have done it. 7/23/2026_ Update: Another day has passed by with no response or communication what so ever from ABC Legal.
7/24/2026_Update: I still don't have the simple POS that this company is supposed to provide to customers after rendering the service. I've not missed the deadline to notify all parties and would have to cancel the subpoena. All the efforts and time spent on this by attorneys and paralegals have gone to waste thanks to ABC Legal.
Stay away from this company at all costs.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Worst process server possible, only attempted service 3 times when I paid for 4 to 6 and am still waiting on my proof of service. They aren't helpful at all. Go with any other company than this one, wasted my time and money!!

My experience with ABC Legal over the past month has been a nightmare. They notified me within a week that my papers had been served and once ten days were shot on my 45-day court deadline I got a rejection notice from the supposedly "served" party that it was not a legitimate serve. They simply left it with some receptionist for a signature and did not verify they were leaving it with an authorized agent, doing the very LEAST they could do -- basically just a "certified return receipt" which I could have paid $10-15 through the post office for.
I thought maybe this was a fluke and informed them of this immediately speaking to five different agents multiple times over 2 weeks. I submitted proof of non-service and they said they will "look into it". Apparently despite the evidence and ticket "we are looking into it" is their standard canned response template. I told them multiple times that thanks to them I have just TEN DAYS LEFT with the justice court that does will not grant service extensions, and even ABC Legal's own deadline is today. That would cost me the fees I paid both to them and the court. I gave them a different address to serve or the option for a refund so I could hire a private process server in the city of service and only asked that they tell me which it will be so I could hurry up and make my move in the slim time frame I have left due to their inaction. But despite calling daily and being promised a supervisor will get back to me "within 24 hours" all I (finally) got was an impersonal rejection (no phone call).
This experience of their taking my money, falsely claiming successful service, then stonewalling me for a month now while running out the clock is abhorrent. From now on I will only deal with a private server who actually communicates with their customers and doesn't take and keep money for a service they did not provide successfully, yet labels it as such and then addresses the issue by stonewalling their paid customers for weeks with no resolution or word.
Find a local trusted process server from the state's legal government database yourself and avoid national chains. All the chains do is hire an independent agent in the town you specify anyway (not one employed by them). You can hire them for the same price (or less) and have direct access to the server without a stonewalling middleman that acts as "defense". I finally got mine served correctly by doing just that and both were speedy and responsive -- and so far no rejections! 👍🏻
UPDATE: Their response to this review below references customer relations supervisor "Isa" who issued the impersonal denial I mentioned above. Should ABC Legal decide to respect The Strict Legality of a Corporate Process Server Under Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure (Rule 4) I will update here. They owe me a refund for services not legitimately rendered. The irony of a "legal service" that is ignorant of and/or violates the law is notable.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would.
I gave them my paperwork, and they told me it had to be sent to the Sheriff’s Office. That was fine, but after a month went by, I asked for an update. They finally claimed they sent the paperwork an entire month later.
.
I kept checking, and there was still no update. Eventually, I got fed up and called the Sheriff’s Office myself. They told me they had never received it.
I called ABC, and they insisted the Sheriff’s Office did receive it. Then, two days later, they updated my account saying they had sent the paperwork again. I called the Sheriff’s Office once more, and they told me the only thing ABC had ever sent was the citation—not the rest of the required paperwork. They also told me they had contacted ABC over a month earlier requesting the remaining documents, but ABC never responded.
At this point, it’s been over two months. Not only did they waste my time and money, but they also lied to me over the phone by claiming they had sent everything when they hadn’t.
Don’t waste your time or money. You’ll likely end up having to file extensions because of their delays. This is an awful company and absolutely not worth it

I am an attorney and hired ABC to do a simple serve. There was at least three weeks to timely serve the responding party when I hired them. Inexplicably, they waited until the LAST DAY for effective service and that attempt failed. I received a full refund but my client was pissed and I had to explain to him that I had tried a new process server but they failed. You would do better to burn your money than hire this company.

Fast and precise delivery service. The request and uploading of documentation was simple through the website. Definitely worth the service fee.
