ABC bookkeeping software was a giveaway with an Amstrad 1512 when PC's were a new thing in the 80's and we still use it today with a £1m+ t/o company. We have had impeccable service, support and help throughout the years, so if any software has been fantastic value its ABC. You can speak to the programmer (Chris) who is always helpful and patient with all your questions and will provide custom additions to ABC should you need to integrate with other software. Unlike the mainstream Quick-books, Xero, Sage etc, it is very reasonably priced and is presented with the novice user in mind, but has the power for the most demanding of clients. Brilliant.

Chris Hicks went above and beyond to solve my ABC6 problems which eventually turned out to be Windows Defender preventing an ABC6 file from being installed!

I just started using ABC Softare's VAT Bridge for MTD. Really impressed by this simple and effective solution. There's no intrusive holding on to data, and the response i had to a query about porting to another computer was quick, informative and very friendly, making me feel instantly like one of the family. I see from the other reviews that many people feel the same :)

Following a normal start-up from my desktop, ABC's update checker was unable to complete so I could not access ABC. A screen message suggested that the necessary link may have been quarantined by security software.
On contacting ABC help line, the problem was quickly sorted on instruction together with some handy advice regarding Backing-up .Which was a 'Life line'.

Have used ABC software for maybe 30years, with this incident a nasty shock which was quickly solved by the team.

I've been using ABC since we first started in business in 1985. It has been great and can do almost everything you would need to run a business, including Payroll, Accounts and Filing. I moved from the single user MSDOS version to the new Windows based ABC6 Network version and would not hesitate to recommend it.

An easy to use system and abc6 are very helpful if there is a problem.

I have been an ABC Accounts user for over thirty years and have always had the greatest admiration for it. It has proved highly stable and completely trouble-free. As I don’t think like an Accountant, I love ABC’s simplistic approach and lack of jargon, despite being immensely capable. Its ease of use makes its name entirely appropriate. And its regular updates demonstrate that its creators never take their eye off the ball.

Always quick to respond when have a problem or query. Very user friendly software. Very happy with the support.

We struggled with customer accounts filling up too quickly which led to them running slowly and freezing. Spoke To Chris Hicks who had a look and within a matter of days found the problem and updated the system to make these run quicker and smoother. He also upgraded the system to allow us to email statements and invoices to specific customers which has saved us on paper and postage.

When we had a problem with our windowsXP we wanted to transfer to W10.
Chris was with us on every step to ensure we made payroll and Vat return on time.
Thanks as always. Been a pleasure using ABC since 1988 with every and any problems sorted with alacrity.

Chris Hicks is the most patient man, I am a lady in my late 50's and not up to date as some people are. I have found Chris so helpful always there to help you in anyway he can. I would recommend ABC to everyone. His system is so easy to use and understand.
