I was a bit sceptical after reading all…

I was a bit sceptical after reading all the reviews. But to be honest i had a great experience!! The couch was delivered within 7 days, arrived in great condition and is sitting in my living room as we speak. very happy about my purchase!!

Right Handed Corner sofa from Abakus

Bought Harriet Right Handed Corner sofa through The Range marketplace website.
The issue was with the delivery company as they were in charge when to deliver it.
The communication could be better to arrange the delivery as needed to chase them up couple of times because the time wasn't suitable when to deliver and the rescheduling process wasn't easy as their phone lines where almost impossible to contact tool me almost hour to get through the customer services.
So the live chat was not working with them.
On the agreed delivery date wasn't contacted by the delivery driver to let know that the driver is on the way.
Was left an email what I've noticed only later on after the delivery.
Was changing my child's nappy and suddenly did noticed that the van is outside.
However on the agreed day of delivery the driver was nice and polite towards us and did explained how to put sofa together and did carry both parts of the corner sofa inside the house in our living room by himself on his own.
Overall we are satisfied with the service and the sofa from Abakus company!

Excellent communication makes up for delivery delay.

I had to think about my star rating for this company. I bought a sofa bed and had to wait 4 weeks until it was delivered. I had to contact the company in order to chase the delivery. However, their response was not only prompt, super polite, respectful and apologetic; they also offered an explanation for the delay and were able to give me an approximate date for delivery. I was in touch with them two further times, as I needed clarification on the delivery - had the same positive experience.
I think this to a large degree makes up for the delay. The only thing they could have done better would be to be more proactive when a delivery is delayed, and get in touch with the buyer.
They use a company, Furdeco, which allows you to reschedule delivery if the planned day and time does not work for you.
I have not yet unpacked and assembled the sofa bed, so presently can not comment on the actual quality of the product I bought.

Ordered online

Ordered this online, the day after a delivery date was arranged 2 days later after ordering, our sofa was in our living room. After the very helpful delivery driver aided us putting this in the correct room. The sofa is of amazing quality and lovely colour, we couldn't be happier with this.

bullying driver

The driver rang us 25 mins prior to delivery saying i’m on my own i thought he needed help said no problem then to my amazement he said no don’t need help i want a tip so hang on your ringing me prior to delivery asking for money & because i said no he arrived very rude angry throwing my new sofa into hallway then i said don’t you help assist opening or assembling said no i said igot £10 tip if help he grunted said not enough felt very intimidated he bullied me into giving him more cash extortion but i said that’s all i had he said no rushed me to sign for sofa before could open boxes then went drove off then i now no why as opened boxes center piece was missing so he purposely left in truck to see how much get out off me so half a sofa rang driver on number he rang me on explain piece missing he swore at me said ring office (saturday) so not open till monday putt phone down email abakus they did get in touch monday saying get piece sent out too me said investigate driver but don’t honestly believe that no compensation no sincere apology good mind phone police on this bullying extortionate intimidating rude angry driver perhaps this normal practice

Lovely sofa

Lovely sofa, however delivery driver left boxes outside the front door. Unsure if he was supposed to bring inside and assemble but this was left to us

No communication nearly 2 weeks after…

No communication nearly 2 weeks after putting in an order. No response to email. Tried to get hold of customer service on the phone but they never answer or call back. Will be doing a chargeback if no one responds.

The sofa and chair I purchased are very comfortable. Definitely good value for money. If I had one suggestion that would improve the service it would be that the company kept in touch with you after the initial confirmation of your order. I waited nearly a month for my first delivery and rang them twice to find out what the situation was. An email telling the customer why it was delayed would have been appreciated.
