Great training session - really engaging teaching style from Mike and well put together content. The day didn’t drag (as full day courses often do!), and the mix between theory and practical learning was perfect for me. Would definitely use Abacus again in the future!

I attended the Emergency First Aid in the Workplace training with Mike Taylor at Abacus. It was a great session. It was hugely informative, yet practical and hands on training. Memorable and engaging, and I would highly recommend for anyone considering first aid training.

Fast paced course that covered a lot of material in a short time. Videos that illustrated the learning points really well. Opportunities to practice the skills and good provision of refreshment and breaks throughout the day.

I’ve just completed their 5 day FREC Iniitial course. The delivery from both Mike and Phil was spot on. There is a lot of information to absorb, and the pacing is perfect. There are frequent recaps and quizzes which helped me as a student to let me know that I was taking that information in, and that I was able to recall it.
The practical scenarios helped me to see that I was able to recall it under pressure, and helped to prepare me for when it occurs irl.
I highly recommend Abacus.

First aid and Mental health first aid delivery is excellent, his practical first aid delivery and interactive sections are great, I highly recommend Mike, and the spread he puts on... Delicious, Liz brings it when it comes to the food and course updates.
