Excellent customer service. Had an issue with emails not being received and they dealt with it immediately. Highly recommended.

Great product and for most of the last year great customer service. Unfortunately after issues with packaging and delays from the end of March customer service has disappeared. I am still waiting for product ordered the end of March and had to transition to another product. I would love to go back if they can get their act together.

We recently contacted Aardvark in the hope that they may have an answer to our 15 year old blind and deaf border terrier who had become unable to process protein. We tried many different types of kibble and wet food but to no avail, he was gradually wasting away in front of us. A friend suggested trying a different type of protein food which his tummy may not recognise as protein. We turned to Aardvark as they specialise in insect based protein food. We contacted them and they gave us so much advice and even had their in house vet contact us to discus his issues. We asked for a small sample as we’d just spent a fortune on the food the vet had recommended and it hadn’t worked, they immediately sent us a 3 kg bag of aardvark kibble for free! Freddy at first seamed to like it and even became stable with his weight. Unfortunately, he again had a reaction to this food. After a couple of weeks Freddy stopped eating altogether and we had to say goodbye to our best little friend for the last 15 years.
We can not praise the professionalism and customer service of this company enough. They were understanding of Freddy’s condition and whilst it was not the answer to his problem we would thoroughly recommend them and their product to anyone. We have two other dogs and they will now be introduced to Aardvark kibble in the future.

Supply issues have meant having to transition away from this. Customer service which was once great has deteriorated. I know you are a small business but speak to your customers, explain what is going on, be honest and you may retain some loyalty when things improve. Sadly we are having to move to another food - again! 😔

In more detail;
Brody is allergic to everything! He had been on a well known insect based dog food for a while. Whilst it agreed with his allergies externally he became very gassy with anal glands issues.
This has now improved massively with using Aardvark. Before we made the transition Aardvark even arranged for us to speak with their vet who was much better informed about allergies than our own vet who we pay to speak to!

Great dog food, always quick and easy purchase and delivery

I’ve been ordering from Aardvark for a while, once I began the transition to aardvark food my cat suddenly stopped eating dry food when I was at the step of 50/50 mix of her old food and new food.

I tried feeding each dry food as treats and she completely turned her nose up at the old food and devoured Aardvark. I had to move her over to 100% Aardvark and stop the slow transition process. She then began refusing her wet food and opted to eat Aardvark instead showing just how much she seems to enjoy it!

She also used to get quite flaky/dandruffy skin at points through the year, but since swapping over to Aardvark I’ve seen no traces of this which makes me consider she might have had a slight intolerance to an item in her previous food.

That’s just the product though. The customer service at Aardvark has been outstanding. Twice have my orders had delays due to shipping issues outside of their control. Each time I was notified well before the product was due to arrive and they provided exemplary compensation for the delay. I always feel informed about any issues or delays and I’m extremely happy with how they treat their customers. (To note delays have been extremely rare in the past year or so and both times were issues with supply chain in general around the country)

I also really appreciate the eco friendly packaging and all the small details on making the product more eco friendly, such as paper based tape and no plastic packing peanuts (brown paper is used instead).

The only complaint I really have is I wish they did more products! Treats at the moment are animal based and it would be brilliant if treats could be made with the same ethical consideration as the dry food! Semi wet sticks would be my ideal product.

My cats absolutely love the biscuits they received. One of my cats jemima is more of a wet food cat but she's been eating lots these biscuits aswell. Shows how great they are 🥰

My pooch has a very temperamental tummy. I put him on Aardvark to trial a new dog food that differs from the typical ones available!
So far so good! No upset tummy and he is happy, healthy and can’t wait for his dinner!! :D

I will definitely be recommending this food to my friends as it’s good for my dog and the planet! Finally insects can do something other than irritate me during the summer!

I have been feeding my rescue dog on Aardvark for a while, firstly because of how much better it is for the environment, but also because he absolutely loves it and is looking so well for it! I'm now transitioning my puppy over to it also.

I'm very impressed with their customer service, I had a problem with the delivery of my order and their response was just above and beyond. Fantastic company with a great ethos and an awesome product!

I get so many comments from other dog walkers about our 10 month old spaniel's coat being glossy and how healthy she looks, and I tell them quite simply, she's fed on insects! Love the fact that it's better for her and the planet and she is so healthy on it. Thank you.

Aardvark insect kibbles have transformed my cat. She is a fussy eater with a sensitive tummy. I'd tried all sorts but she either walked away or we had consequences in the litter tray :( So I needed something she would enjoy and which didn't upset her. For myself, I wanted something ethical and sustainable. Aardvark has been brilliant for the cat and me. To top it off, the customer service is like talking with a friend! Highly recommend.

I switched my two agility dogs to Aardvark earlier in the year and it suits them both very well. Great customer service too. Thank you Aardvark.

Our cat is quite prone to stress cystitis with any small change to her environment, but as we are always looking for ways to try and reduce our carbon footprint we decided to give Aardvark a go. She transitioned really smoothly onto it with no issues. Thank you, Aardvark!

Our cat's a fairly fussy eater (aren't they all) absolutely loves Aardvark. Our cat's been on a specialist GI mix since we got her but gets on really well with Aardvark!

Working in vet industry and after a lot of research I was happy something as doggy Aardvark food appeared . I switched my dog`s food from very well known brands to find that Aardvark kibble is the one that gives me the confidence he is eating a healthy food and also assures me he is not fussy anymore. My Dexter loves his food and I have been recommending Aardvark to my clients and their dogs and cats with allergies also. Very pleased with the product.

Tried a small pack initially and our cat loved it, it's the only food he's guaranteed to devour every time. We're now regular subscribers and wouldn't buy any other dry food. Love that it's sustainable and delivered to the door.

We have transitioned our two cats and a dog to aardvark kibble. They are enjoying it, their health is excellent, and their poos are amazing! Also, to mention that one of our cats suffers from allergies, and it was tough to find suitable kibble for her, but Aardvark works!

I've got 3 large dogs of various types (none of them are breeds as all mixes) plus a cat and they all love Aardvark. It actually smells good. I feel so much less guilty now that I'm not feeding them meat as we all need to eat less and better meat to address the Climate Emergency and with 3 rescue dogs I get through a huge amount of dog food so felt really conflicted pre - Aardvark. Feeding our pets insect based pet food is a really meaningful change that we can all take to reduce our environmental impact.

We have 2 wire haired viszlas and they are now fully on aardvark kibble and seemed to have really loved it from the start, despite being known as a fussy eating breed. Also very impressed with product packaging and customer service.

We have a subscription with Aardvark and our two cats love it. Great service too.
