We have been with this firm for several years and have always found them friendly and efficient. This week they surpassed themselves. We had intruders at 3.15 am. The alarm went off even though the intruders had torn off the key pad on the wall. There were 3 intruders dressed in black with ski masks and gloves - just like a TV show, but rather more nerve wracking. The alarm company rang within a minute of the alarm going off. We told them we had intruders and they immediately said that the police were on their way. Indeed, the police arrived in a couple of minutes - 5 police cars! Anyway, the intruders got away just before the police arrived. AAI sent an engineer that night. He arrived at about 4.00 am and fixed the alarm. The firm were on the phone asking if we were OK. Both that night and during the day and over the next 2 days. Their care and attention was terrific. We have had other alarm firms before, one of which was a global firm and the reason we changed was quite simply they were hopeless and madly expensive.
We can’t recommend AAI highly enough on all counts.

We were with them for 10 + years, twice yearly services.... BUT Thieves broke in through the roof, they cut 5 holes with out entering till they found the blind spot in the alarm they wanted to get into. I put this down to some one working this out whilst pretending to be a customer. I had the alarm audited and improved. We were then broken in to again through a wall, in a non public area and avoiding structure inside the building that would have blocked access, again into a blind spot on the alarm. After asking for a 100% audit to make sure there were no more blind spots I was unhappy with the response so had further sensors fitted. We were then broken into again, and yes into another part of the building that "should" have been an alarm blind spot, but it was not, the alarm went off this time. Again non public area with complex internal structure that was avoided.

I have now changed companies, I put the above to AAI to be told that it was nothing to do with them or their staff and that it must be my staff, there are 5 or us 3 family and the other 2 with me for 20 + years.

I leave you to work out how such detailed knowledge of the internal structure, 2 in non public areas, and blind spots on the alarm can have ended up with criminals.

The quote I got from AAI Security was very competitive & detailed each component of the proposal, which was very useful.
The system was installed on 09/10/24 & the Installation Engineer (Steve) was very professional, efficient & tidied up afterwards. He fully tested the system before handing it over & walked me through the controls.
The system is working well.

this is a belated comment regarding an experience I had on 31st,July ,my car broke down on possibly the worst road in Waterford or perhaps Ireland ,the notorious Dunmore road at 4.30pm traffic backed up both ways as far as the eye could see,a group of school kids helped me push the car to the Cove bar,the AA arrived about an hour later and Cian Mullane tried everything he could to move me to no avail,his colleague arrived at about 9.30pm towed the car to the garage,a big thank you to both men a credit to the AA.

I have been a customer of this company for over 10 years. Since the change in ownership I have seen the level of customer service declining, but continued due to my loyalty. However today I realised that this company does not believe in customer care.
As they manage your alarm system, you are totally dependent on them. After servicing my system regularly, they tried to enforce that a PIN code was used to activate the system and not a fob. I have used the fob since it was installed in 2013. So decided to move but waiting to find out how much they will deduct from my annual payment that was made in January this year. Will not recommend this company.When you need their help and support, they will find ways to extract more money from you to provide the necessary support.
