EdgeFinder is Expensive, But Not Very Helpful
The EdgeFinder tool is not that great for currency traders. It's cute, it's colorful, and it has a lot of information. Nick relies heavily on the COT (Commitment of Traders) data. It's a lagging indicator. The info is from Tuesday and it's not released to the public until 3:30pm EST on Friday. Basically when the market is dead and about to close. It tells you what the large speculators already did, as if we didn't see it on the charts already.
Also, there have have been way too many instances over the last year or so since I've owned this product, where a pair will show in the top setups page as "Very Bullish" or "Very Bearish", yet price is trending aggressively in the opposite direction, blowing through key levels. How is a wrong reading helping traders? If you find the answer, please let me know.
I'm hopeful it'll get better, but I won't hang my hat on this. Good luck to all the traders, new and old, and don't think you need a fancy, expensive, lagging tool to give you an edge on trading.

You're right about COT data—it’s released weekly by the CFTC every Friday based on Tuesday’s positions, and there’s no way for anyone to access it earlier. While it's not meant for short-term timing, it remains a valuable tool for understanding institutional positioning, which many advanced traders still use as part of their overall analysis.
Regarding your point about the Top Setups page showing a strong bias while price moves the other way: that’s a fair concern, and it’s important to clarify that the EdgeFinder does not predict price action. It simply analyzes data (economic trends, sentiment, positioning, etc.) and generates a directional bias based on how those factors have historically impacted markets. That bias is one piece of the puzzle—not a guarantee.
Markets can shift for reasons no tool can fully account for—unexpected news, geopolitical events, or technical levels breaking down. That’s why we always encourage traders to use the EdgeFinder alongside their own technical analysis and risk management. For example, our analysts often pass on trades even when the EdgeFinder shows a strong bias, if the technicals don’t confirm the idea.

Great product
First of all, the customer service I have received from this company has always been outstanding. The edgefinder is a wonderful and powerful tool for keeping up with the fundamentals of the trading world. I feel the tutorials could be a little more in-depth in some cases, but overall A1 trading is an amazing company with outstanding service and products.

Highly Recommended Software
I purchased this software 2 - 3 years ago. I use it 5 days a week while trading.
I really love this tool, it is an essential part of my TDA's & trading plan.
The best thing is that when they said life time access they really meant it. No hidden fees, no up selling on the same product. True to their word.
I also love the Discord membership that's included.
Trader Nicks weekly Pod Cast snippet is awesome, and something I look forward to always.

The Missing Piece of the Jigsaw
For anyone who thinks that fundamental analysis doesn't matter, just hold a USD-based position on the first Friday of every month. For a long time, I knew it was important but struggled to find a way to incorporate it into my trading plan. Then I came across the EdgeFinder. Simply put, it is the simplest, most effective way of understanding the implications of fundamental analysis and building it into your daily routine. My experience with these guys has been faultless. Even better, TraderNick's Youtube channel shows him using this tool everyday. The new economic heatmaps are a game changer for me as it aggregates up all the relevant data as you would expect the central banks to use when they're setting rates (CPI, GDP, Unemployment etc etc). Please, don't hesitate - trust these guys.

Great product
Good experience since last June/July. Incredibly convenient for Fundamental overview. As more and more features get added it's important that you do not ruin the product: I love the Edgefinder Data scanner and the new economic heatmaps (EUR,US,UK) I Hope you add the JPY economic heatmap too.

These 5 star reviews are fake. A1 trading are liars!!
half of these are reviews are paid for. There's one review on the 7th November 2024 saying how bad service he got from a guy called Drew in customer service and he was just appalled etc, funny on the 27th of novemeber 20 days later there's a review saying how good drew was and how patient drew was with him etc, the exact opposite to what the bad review was.
Please dont believe these reviews.
Also on YouTube Trader Nick is promoting a "free" trial for this weekend of the edge finder, he said you just need to sign up and can access it within a minute for no cost at all for just this weekend, signed up and wanted to charge me $199.99 for a trial. If that's not a scam I dont know what is.
Thought Nick wasn't like all the others but it very well seems he is just the same. Lies and fake reviews.
Read the reviews on the 7/11/24 about Drew and then read the review on the 27/11/24 and make up your own mind if all these 5 star reviews are real. Clearly not.
