I recently bought a car for my daughter and had a really positive experience. The salesman, Chris, was friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. He made sure the car was fully roadworthy before we collected it and even arranged for a new key, which was a great touch and gave us extra peace of mind. This is the 2nd car I have bought from this dealer, and I would highly recommend them

If you want to buy a car but don't mind being without one while it's constantly in the shop, then this is the place for you. If you enjoy having no updates on when your vehicle will be returned and are happy taking buses and taxis in the meantime, look no further.

The sales and service teams treat you like you don’t matter and have no other choice. They will sell you a car and "fix" it, but you’ll never know when you’re getting it back. For someone like me who relies on a car to earn a living, this place is a financial nightmare.

Getting the service department to answer the phone makes you the luckiest person in the world—but don’t expect any real answers. There are no courtesy cars and zero empathy. I am currently struggling to do my job as a carer because they sold me a lemon. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent service from this company- really kind, helpful and friendly. The process went seamlessly. They serviced the car and rectified any problems. Chris was just great.

Absolute disgusting company absolute rip-off merchants. My daughter bought a car from them on the 2020 plate six months down the line. He has a gearbox leak. My mechanic has told me. This was probably present when we bought the car and that the gearbox has been off before, and they’ve tried to reseal it with silicon. when you complain tell you as you’re outside your warranty not their problem. Customer service is appalling. If I could give no stars I would please save your money and avoid it all cost.

We bought a white 21 reg Fiesta from this company. The salesman -Neil, was so helpful and knowledgeable. He was a delight to deal with and was very laid back in his manner (I don’t like pushy salespeople).
The car was valeted, serviced and a new MOT issued and was all ready for us to drive away in the time agreed.

chris at a1 cars under 6000 was polite professional very helpful in explaining all about the car i was intrested in , did not rush or pressure me in any way .

Nothing but an positive experience, I went to see a fiesta last Friday. Noticed a few minor problems with the car but they had them all fixed and ready by next Friday I couldn't fault it! Neil was very helpful and extremely friendly with his service. I was unfamiliar with the roads and he was able to guide me to the nearest petrol station.

I would consider going back to them for my next car for sure!

Purchased a Ford kuga ST LINE. When I arrived at the garage Paul was spot on he didn’t hound me he greeted me and handed me the keys of the 2 cars I wanted to view so I could inspect and make a decision without a salesman in my ear and this is how I wanted and needed a car purchase to go being anxious and socially awkward I like to be able to make a decision with a clear mind.
Once i made my decision the sale was easy and simple. They put a new service on it like I asked and I collected it 3 days later the car is like brand now “spot on”
I went to a main dealer before visiting A1 carriages but because the salesman kept throwing information at me and telling me I shouldn’t buy from a second hand dealer etc I had to leave.
So I can’t recommend A1 carriages enough.

I bought a Honda jazz from Chris and I must say I had a great experience. He made the whole process straight forward and hassle free. My husband says he is going to look for a new car for himself here because of this experience. Thanks for going above and beyond!

We went to look at a car for my daughter, Chris in the showroom was very polite and helpful.
We asked about a car and he gave us the keys to take a look.
I gave Chris a call and asked a few questions about the car, all were answered.
Placed a deposit on the car and picked it up 3 days later, car had just had a service and been through the workshop to see if anything needed doing.
Full valet on the car.

He gave me a clear explanation of the fees and provide a fast and efficient service. This is my 3rd car purchase from A1 carriages, I would highly recommend.

My daughter recently bought a Fiesta from A1 Carriages. There was no pressure from the salesman and we completed 2 test drives. When we collected the car there was some white smoke from the exhaust on the drive home. This we discovered was due to the weather conditions (cold and wet) and the car needing a good drive. The company was happy to put our minds at rest with a thorough check the next day. The technician even started work early to save us time.

Recently bought my son a Fiesta as first car. Chris French looked after us and sorted us out with a test drive. Really pleased with the service and car all good so far.

I was looking for a second hand car online saw what I liked so I went to the showroom £6000 and under. Met Chris who was very accommodating and let me throughly check the car on my own with no pressure sale techniques. I was very happy with the car and bought it. They gave it a full service and a thorough valet. Only a week in but everything is running fine but I can't fault Chris and A1 carriages. If it changes I will repost 🤞 But I would reccomend Chris and a1 carriages hope it helps anyone else looking cheers Luke

Brought a car for our daughter it looked great however after the warranty expired paint started to crack on it’s own accord and spread across the boot of the car we feel it had been painted over to cover damage and is peeling away leaving a large crack ,avoid at all costs I thought they were a reliable reputable dealer not the case three months warranty the air filter has also fallen of on it’s own accord now waiting to get it repaired and am wondering what else is going to go wrong with the car but with the concealed damage it has meant that we were over charged for the value of the car. And left with a loss for a car that could not be sold on.
