I am a pensioner on my own and unfortunately I locked myself our on a Monday afternoon. I was very upset at the amount I was charged for a job that took only approximately 15 to 20 min job. The original price he wanted at first was £220.00 after a heated discussion he still charged me £180.00 of which he asked for cash?? I told him I only have a card he then processed to drill out the lock and put in a deadlock.
This is a lot of money too me but I had no choice at the time . I feel I have been taken advantage off because I am a pensioner .

Being locked out of your property can be a stressful situation and we understand that the cost of emergency locksmith services can sometimes come as an unwelcome surprise. Unfortunately, emergency lockout services are rarely inexpensive, regardless of which locksmith company is used, as they involve an urgent call-out, specialist tools, expertise and in this case the supply and installation of a new lock and keys.
We would like to clarify that the original quoted price was reduced and a discounted final price of £180 was agreed before the work was carried out. We specifically took your circumstances into account when discussing the final charge.
Following the lockout, the existing lock had to be drilled and was replaced with a new deadlock together with new keys. The replacement lock was selected to reduce the likelihood of the same issue occurring again in the future.
We are also concerned by the suggestion regarding payment methods. Our customers are free to choose whichever payment method is most convenient for them, including card payments and this was explained at the time.
Your review has come as a surprise to us, as our understanding on the day was that the agreed work had been completed successfully and at the agreed price. Nevertheless, customer satisfaction is important to us and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns further.

Stay away!!
Do not use this man he will con you out of your money. I had two locks fitted , was quoted £70 a lock of which was over top as it was, when he pulled his card machine out he then he asked for £79 a lock.
He fitted two locks in literally 5 minutes and then charged £468 , he’s a complete rip off so stay away !

We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience.
To clarify, during our first visit a £49 assessment fee was charged. This visit included diagnosing the issue, checking which lock types and sizes were required and determining the parts needed before returning to complete the work.
Following the assessment, the pricing was discussed and agreed. This consisted of four locks at £79 each, together with £100 labour for installation. We proceeded with ordering the required locks and arranging the second visit on the understanding that this quotation had been accepted.
During the second visit, all four locks were installed. When payment was requested, a question was raised regarding the lock price. Our technician explained that the agreed price was £79 per lock rather than £70 per lock.
We are genuinely sorry if there has been any misunderstanding regarding the pricing, as this was never our intention. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter further and reach a fair resolution.
If, after reviewing the details, we find that any misunderstanding occurred on our side, we would be happy to consider an appropriate partial refund.

Absolutely rubbish
Absolutely rubbish. We didn’t have a spare key to unlock our garden room so Damian came out ‘ had to drill our lock out’ charged us triple the quote! Then after 2 days lock broke! He wanted us to pay him AGAIN to come out and fix it. Complete cowboy. DO NOT USE THEM.

Building Lock Replacement
Attended our building with in 3 hours of our call, efficiently dealt with our lock issues, explaining what they were doing and the price was reasonable.
We would use 7 - Locksmiths again if the need arose.
