I paid to subscribe to the monthly plan on Aug. 9, 2024, and never received a download link so I emailed support. I received one response asking for the email address I subscribed under (Hello! The email address I'm writing from!!), then never received another response. I emailed that I wanted to cancel my subscription on Aug. 11, 2024 and never received a response. My credit card has been charged $14.99 monthly in spite of dozens of requests to cancel and get a refund. While the product may appear to be legit and useful, I question whether it was ever real. You should completely disregard the false and misleading cancellation and refund policies on their web site.

They don't answer when you want to cancel your account.

Yet again another person just trying to cancel his subscription and nothing has worked.... Nobody has replied from the company. Cancelled via the website and now on the third month of payments still being taken.... STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

I'm going through the same issue as others. Charged for a trial service and now being ignored by the company. I'm working with PayPal to get a refund.

I subscribed to your service, asked for an invoice, no answer. Tried to cancel the service, couldn’t do it, I was asked to contact support. I contacted again: no answer. I contacted via Instagram, talked to you, you promised to cancel my subscription. I went to the website, tried to cancel it one more time, and this time it seemed like I succeeded and the account was terminated, a few days ago I got another charge from you. Tried to contact via Instagram, no response.

I will have to go through the trouble to cancel my debit card just for your greed. Can you please, once last time, cancel my subscription please?

Absolutely NONE of the things i bought from 640studio worked AT ALL!! none of the assets was there when installed, and no way of actually checking if the things work. waste of money.

This company is a pure scam and have had to contact my credit card provider to block the reoccurring subscription charge. Also there is no way to cancel the subscription as an error message conveniently appears. Stay away.

then purge their account details so you cannot log on to the site and re-download the assets you have licensed.
After emails back and forth, claiming I was ' looking in the wrong place' for my assets. I was eventually ignored. then there's story after story of them ceasing all communication when you contact them with questions.
I stood by 640 for years. I've been using them for assets and plugins since they popped up in 2020. but I have no idea what has happened or what Justin has endorsed.
predatory marketing, and being locked out of assets you purchased is the end of the line.
I'm fortunate enough to not care about the $97.
but new/young/starting filmmakers without capital are going to fall hard for this with no way to fight back.

I bought maybe 1 or 2 asset packs at one point and ever since had received constant spammy clickbait emails. Despite unsubscribing multiple times I continued to receive them. Annoying but not a massive problem.

Then back in January I received one claiming that 20gb of content was available for $1. Sounded fishy hey, $1, so I checked it out.

Part of this sale included a 7-day trial to his new filming “Masterclass” and nowhere did it state that you’d be charged for the course after the trial is up (I have a screenshot). So, I emailed him asking to clarify and to assure I wouldn’t be charged after 7 days. No reply.

7 days pass and I get charged $97. I send another email and get completely ignored again.

Justin Jones knew exactly what he was doing. Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid. Yes they sell reasonable video editing assets and access to an online masterclass for just $1 but you are automatically enrolled onto a subscription of $97 if you don't cancel within 7 days.

I have since emailed requesting a refund and have been assured it will be given but I would avoid as their advertising is very misleading. I will provide an update should the refund go through.

Pure scam. Have reached out to teachable.com who's hosting the site.
Mind the details – 640studio.com is not the same as 640-studio.com

They advertise $1 for all their products but charged me $97 when ordered. I got one item. When I contact customer service, I get no response. There is no phone number. Will ask my credit card company to deny the purchase.

Don't even go near them. You'll get about a million emails a day.

Avoid at all costs. Pure scam. No response. Noi assets. Constant spam.

Nothing but a scam and harassment
I unsubscribed from their mailing list 3 times after promised “editing assets” that I never received” false advertisement and zero help, can’t think otherwise ran by fraud.

Advertised 1 usd sale, charged 97 usd and did not deliver anything.
