Disappointing software and even worse refund policy
Disappointing software and even worse refund policy
Review:
I purchased Tenorshare 4DDiG to recover critical photos from a USB drive. Unfortunately, the software failed completely—while it "found" files, none of them could actually be opened after recovery.
When I contacted support within 24 hours of purchase, they admitted their technical team found the data "completely corrupted" and non-recoverable by their tool. Despite their product failing to perform its primary function, they refused a full refund. Instead, they offered a measly 30% refund or an "exchange" for other software I don't need.
Selling a recovery tool that doesn't work and then keeping 70% of the customer's money is unacceptable. If the tool can’t recover the data, a full refund should be standard, especially when requested immediately. Buyer beware.

Good Software With Hidden Ripoff
The software 4DDiG worked exactly as advertised and was very helpful. HOWEVER - beware of aggressive trial subscription tactics that could leave you paying for software you neither requested nor needed. Their response to my complaint offered zero appropriate resolution. Buyer Beware!

I bought Partition Magic from them
I bought Partition Magic from them, it didn't work for me. I immediately informed them that same day to get my money back. But the answers were different just to not waste my money. Scammers.

Unacceptable! Software failed to repair my video and they refused to refund.
I purchased Tenorshare 4DDiG (Ticket: 23092813) specifically to repair a corrupted Insta360 video. The software failed completely, and the output file remained unplayable.
Despite providing clear screenshots of the error, their support team (Annie) refused my refund request, claiming they "haven't located the issue yet" and tried to force me to exchange for other useless software.
Their "30-Day Money Back Guarantee" is a total trap. According to their own policy, a refund should be granted if a technical issue cannot be resolved. They are clearly violating their own terms.
Warning to all users: Do not buy from this company. They will take your money and refuse to honor their refund policy even when their product doesn't work.

Manipulative pricing approach
Manipulative pricing approach - I saw this app recommended (by a third party website) as 'free' then downloaded it; it allows you to scan and preview (though preview was 'not available' for the file I wanted), then asks for a pricey monthly subscription to recover even one file. Only when I uninstalled it did it start offering a one-week subscription and discounts. I continued uninstalling as I really detest the kind of reactive pricing that changes the price depending on how gullible / naiive the customer is.
Edit in response to the reply: the pricing did not cause confusion, I think it is misleading and manipulative to offer one price upfront and then another if the customer looks set to leave. The kind of pricing that rewards savvy tech-confident customers who are used to this kind of thing and likely to have a disproportionate effect on those less able to play the game.

Tenorshare saved me twice
Tenorshare saved me twice to recover my deleted video file from the memory card by just 1 click, while wondershare recoverit failed to do so in both cases, despite using all the latter's available methods.

My experience was good with the company I had the chance to get bak memories from my damaged carte sd.
the worst data recovery software ever! Do NOT use!
This is the worst data recovery software I have ever encountered, BAR NONE! This is ransomware packaged to appear legitimate. The free version will only prove that they can recover your data, but then LOCKS the data so you have to pay to actually recover it. I paid for it on Saturday, to recover data on a 128GB thumb drive and by Monday, 9AM without any interruptions, only 47% progress had been made.

Both Data Recovery Software and 4DDiG File Repair are a waste of money
Both Data Recovery Software and 4DDiG File Repair are a waste of money.
Purchased the recovery software, ran the system for 2-3 days and all files recovered are all distorted and not even able to be repaied by 4DDiG File Repair.
Even re-ran both softwares on different folders and files. None can be recovered and still all un-repairable.
Huge disappointment and waste of money and time!

4DDiG File Repair is a waste of money.
4DDiG File Repair is a waste of money.
I purchased this software under order ID TID22958244, but it failed to repair a single one of my uploaded photos. I contacted customer support, but the experience was very disappointing. The support team was unprofessional and disorganized, repeatedly asking for the same information even though I had already provided all the required details to help them improve the software in future updates.
Since the software was completely unusable for me, I requested a refund, but they refused. Overall, very poor performance and even worse customer support. I do not recommend this product

WHEN I MET PROBLEM,THEY REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.AND,HEIP ME TO SIOVE MY PROBLEM.
GOOD SERVICE,I'LL KEEP USING IT.
Solid data recovery tool for basic needs
The software is well organized and easy to use, even for users without technical experience. The scan can take some time, but it is fairly thorough and allows you to preview recoverable files, which is helpful before deciding how to proceed. In my tests, it was able to detect several deleted or inaccessible files. It doesn’t solve every recovery scenario, but it works reliably for common data recovery situations.

DO NOT BUY TENORSHARE SOFTWARE
I purchased Tenorshare 4DDiG Boot Genius in an attempt to repair my Windows 11 PC which had intermittent booting problems.
To buy the Boot Genius program I had to agree to also take out an annual subscription to some other program (PDNob for Windows) which I did not want or need. I had to then cancel that annual subscription to ensure that no subscription payments were taken. To be fair, the cancellation worked, but forcing bundled subscriptions into a one-off purchase is no way to treat customers.
Installation was more difficult than it need have been. I selected English as my chosen language, but the program assumed, incorrectly, that I must have a US layout keyboard. That made it difficult to enter my email address as part of the registration process. I guessed correctly that it was a US/UK keyboard issue and found the key to which the @ symbol maps on a US keyboard.
Boot Genius could find no boot errors to repair. The log files produced by the program confirmed this. So, I asked for a refund, but Tenorshare insisted that I send the log files to them. The email from them explaining how to do so was so muddled that I could not figure out what they were asking. A second set of instructions from them was clearer. They guided me to find the location of the log files but all of the Explorer windows were in Chinese, not in English. In addition, because I had booted into Boot Genius from a USB stick, the Windows drive letters were not assigned as they would have been when booting Windows directly on my PC. Explorer windows in Chinese and muddled drive letters made the task "interesting". I did eventually locate the log files and copy them to a USB stick before sending them to Tenorshare. They agreed that Boot Genius had found no boot errors so I requested a refund in line with their terms and conditions.
They initially ignored my refund request and said that they could transfer the Boot Genius licence to some other program that they sell. I had to refuse their "kind" offer twice before they agreed to a refund, which I have now received.
The icing on the cake is that I later found two copies of Boot Genius on my "scratch" drive and have no idea how they ended up there.
I have since found an interesting account online that describes the program as exhibiting "Malicious activity" I cannot provide a link in this review, but search for tenorshare-4ddig-for-windows.exe on the any.run web site. It's probably easiest to perform a search via your favourite search engine.
The accounts of how the program pries into your computer are are truly shocking.

I bought 4DDiG Partition Manager to…
I bought 4DDiG Partition Manager to clone the OS from one drive to another. The cloning seemed successful, but Windows still wouldn't boot from the new drive. It only showed a black screen with a cursor. According to forums, this is because the software can't handle EFI volumes.
My attempt to get a refund failed. Communication with support was incredibly strange. The same weird questions and advice kept repeating. When I suggested I couldn't log into Windows, they responded, "Right-click on our program icon and look at the version number." And so it is everywhere.
It's either a chat bot or just a bot.
I also left a negative review on the official website, but guess what? It never showed up. Surprise surprise :-)

4DDIG is a scam for Tenorshare to steal your money.
Bought 4DDIG to use once to clone disk. Tenorshare signed me up for a lifelong subscription and started deducted monthly subscription fees from my credit card. Got no action when I told them to cancel everything. Only solution was to cancel my credit card and get a new one.
NEVER LET THEM GET HOLD OF YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS - YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!

The best app 👍🏼👍🏼♥️
I paid for their program
I paid for their program, tried it, never worked. Asked for a refund, they kept asking questions impossible to answer. I was offered a lifetime subscription of the program I don’t want to use. Tiffanny I see you.
