I boked tickets for Ian Botham event, its was cancelled the day before and yes they have still not refunded me for the event. i have sent a number of emails With out any replay. this is a scam and we need to take action against this COMPANY

Booked an event months in advance. It was cancelled the night before and we were offered a refund through I asked for. Then they said we could transfer the tickets to another event 6 months later so I accepted. I have emailed repeatedly to get confirmation and they have not responded at all. I then found out via Facebook that the new event was cancelled a couple of days before it was due to happen. I have emailed again asking for my refund or at least a response and have received nothing. I honestly feel totally scammed. I would absolutely not recommend this company. I have also contacted Junkyard Market about it and have had no response so neither will be getting my business.

Event cancelled and refund never received. Many emails of false promises. Do not use this event company!

I wouldn’t even have given them a 1 star. I brought tickets for the Joe Marler event scheduled for March this year. We were notified the night before that he wouldn’t be coming and offered an alternative event. I didn’t want to take up that offer and requested a refund. No refund to date, despite chasing up several times. No ability to call them and they just ignore emails.

Been chasing for a refund for the Joe Marler event back in March. Been promised a refund then have been fobbed off ever since. Absolute scammers, DO NOT USE. Sent a pre proceedings letter last week which they ignored. I am now going to issue proceedings against them. However, they are likely to close the business before it is dealt with. AVOID at all costs.

Booked in to see Jimmy Bullard. They changed the date to a new one I couldn't attend. They argued it was always this 'new date' and I wasn't due a refund.

Only when I argued with them and showed them the ticket I purchased from them did they realise they messed up and offered a refund.

I accepted the refund over a month ago. I've chased weekly and still have not received a reply, let alone my refund.

I have half a dozen friends who all have the same experience, none of us have received anything.

THE5L'S LIMITED who run 499club need to be held accountable for this.

Absolute scammers. Event cancelled by them the night before, promised refund which has never arrived. I keep chasing, they kept promising, and now ignoring me.
Avoid like the plague, total conmen.

Absolute scam of a company, booked £150 worth of tickets for an event in December. The evening before the event in March, they said the person had cancelled (since transpired via the person that they had cancelled in January) They offered full refunds or the event would proceed we didn't want to pay £150 for the 'event' without the person, asked for a refund. After over 1 month of chasing and numerous excuses they sent a screenshot of a sumup payment scheduled for the next day to refund me, they obviously proceeded to cancel the payment after taking the screenshot, still no refund over 6 weeks after the event cancellation. Do not buy tickets from this company for any event.

They make claims and give assurances that they are unable or unwilling to keep.
Only the threat of legal action results in resolution.
