Scam ,scam ,scam!!!

Scam ,scam ,scam!!!, thank you for becoming a member,we will bill you incrementally every month The first indication of a scam was that they stole a years subscription fee from me in one grab ,which is NOT what their website states!, The rest are just chatbots or fake profiles,They even sent me a "like" profile for an 86 year old woman!!,This was after i stated my age range interest to be between 40-60,far out (lol) other profiles were plainly bullshit, I live in nz and my distance range was set to 100kms so they send me a like for some australian woman???Absolute rubbish!!,reverse charges👍👍

This is a scam

I wish I read the reviews before I pressed pay. I thought I was paying for £4.50pw which is what they advertised but what they did was take £254 in one go out of my account. This is not what I signed up for, neither did I expect that they would take so much money out. I am so gutted because it was the last money I had and it was my birthday. People can be so wicked. When I realised this I called the bank immediately and they told me they can't do anything, I have to wait for them to take the money and then file for dispute. I could not believe the bank could not cancel a pending payment. I have emailed 40smeets customer service and no response. It's been 4 days and nothing. You can't call because there is no number. How are they still allowed to do this to so many people. What can be done to stop them? This is illegal and fraudulent. How do I get my money back?

I HAVE BEEN WITH 40'S MEET FOR SIX…

I HAVE BEEN WITH 40'S MEET FOR SIX MONTHS NOW ....For the whole duration I Was getting to know a guy...it all went well but he didn't want to change to email platform ? I worked out that he was leading me on so I would keep paying the subscription...They have chatbots on here not real genuine people....It is a total rip off if u don't pay your subscription by card they expect you to send money transfer which is way too expensive through the bank then I had to join a cheaper money transfer website.....I never got a date out of it and yes you have to send a fax to cancel otherwise they will keep renewing your subscription ......I'm a nice girl from Australia and I don't deserve to be treated this way so you tell me the best dating apps to go on ???? Also I have paid renewed my subscription for another 3 months and they won't let me read my messages...they are blurry and they expect you to pay more !!! It is crap and we are all worthy of love and a second chance.

Totally despicable site!

more. It's straightforward enough. You can meet women from all walks of life there and all of them are genuine. In addition there are no hidden fees. So anyway 40s Meet isn't a piece of cake, to put it softly. When the owners of this service decided to resort to using chatbots they diminished the quality. Now it's all about ripping off naive users.

Thank you to all the reviewers

Thank goodness I changed my mind at the very last minute, I almost press pay on the verification page which my bank always insists on. I noticed and saw ted flags when I hadn't completed my profile, I had made a mistake and wanted to go back but instead the site took me straight to a page of blurred pictures. I thought it was strange as I had not even uploaded a picture but I was getting all these men saying things like I look very attractive and they want to chat to see compatibility. This is bait and trap at its finest. They (40s meet) are preying on your vulnerabilities and think that if the other seeker sounds interested you will pay the fee so you can continue the conversation. I decided to read the profile of a few one said he had just joined an hour ago but his profile said he joined in January!!!. I don't know what stopped me from paying if it was the 8 weeks notice to cancel or the fact that they try to take a whole year at once and say if they cannot take full they will take in installments that scared me... something just didn't feel right...I think all added up when the amount of messages I received from blurred profiles all seemed to sound the same and their 'bit about me' section was just not sounding like the demographic I had specified to meet.
So so so glad I changed my mind
One more thing I actually wrote to them via their help hub for advice on the payment scheme and I am so sure they will not respond but I have had emails asking if something is wrong as I didn't complete the payment and that this site is where I may meet 'the one'....yeah right!!!!

This is a scam!!!!!Beware.

This is a scam!!!!!Beware.
No cooling off period to start, you have to follow a time frame for cancelation which is ridiculous and write to Austria!!!
Forget customer service its awful.
After I was sent to debt collectors I wrote many complaint letters and after many months I finally received a confirmation that my account had been cancelled.
However, unbelievably I have just received (16 months after being told it was cancelled) a demand to pay, from another debt collection agency!
This is a vile company and should be prosecuted.
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR IT

They have took money from my account in august even though I need to send a write, hand signed letter by mid November.
Customer service Anne is diabolical
Don't waste your time on this site you'll never meet anyone and they will continue to take money from you

40smeet (Australia) is a scam

40smeet (Australia) is a scam website with fake user profiles. There are very few reviews available as it is a fairky new site. You can, however, find reviews about its sister site, 40’smeet.co.nz which will provide you with sufficient reasons to avoid it.

I wish I had seen these reviews as the site that recommended 40s meet gave it 4stars. They did the same to me Unfortunately in regards to payment they took out more than what was advertised on 16th September. I’m disputing this with my bank now, but beware of this site as I have asked for a refund and cancellation of the subscription and they have ignored it. I have no doubt in my mind that they are a scam company and nobody should be promoting this site. This should also be expressed on social media.
