Very much a mixed bag.

Given a choice to rent the same car from competitors, I would definitely choose the competitors. (For reference, I have rented / used the same style car from various competitors, including EVrent, Whitecar (now defunct), ExcellenceGroup and Hertz.)

As regards the car, I was given a standard Tesla X. It was clean (as one would expect). However, the car required a pin in order for it to start - and the part of the screen where the pin was to be entered often froze during the rental period such that it was impossible to enter the pin and to start the car. This was inconvenient at various moments - and, despite raising this with the company, no apology or explanation was ever offered.

A further problem was encountered when arranging the rental period. Having initially been told that the car was available from a Saturday and that delivery could be arranged, I was subsequently told that the car could only be delivered on a Friday and that I would therefore need to rent the car from Friday and be charged for this extra day. This involved paying £235 for an extra day's rental in circumstances where I was not using the car for the extra day at all.

The next problem arose when an insurance claim needed to be made. Despite various requests for documents which should have been provided as a matter of course (copy of rental agreement, payment receipts, photos), I was met with delays and obfuscation. Overall an extremely unpleasant experience with the company when debating, and dealing with the insurance claim for, some comparatively minor work (and for which I was fully insured).

On the positive side, one employee named Yomi was a delight to deal with, even if the system the company operates seemed to provide obstacles in the way of his fully assisting me. Unfortunately, another employee (Dan) was the polar opposite to Yomi.

The ultimate question: would I ever rent from them again? No!

Postscript.
I have now read the response from 3F EV. Unfortunately this is symptomatic of the inaccurate and confrontational approach they have taken with me.
It seems to be alleged that I was unwilling to pay for damage and tried to exert duress over them with the threat of a bad review. This is incorrect. As they are aware, I am entirely insured and the cost of any repairs is neutral to me (because I do not cover the cost). And the costs are tiny.
My review accurately reflects my experience. As I have stated before, Yomi was a delight to deal with. By contrast, Dan was not.

Wanted to rent a Tesla Model X as I surprise for both my partner and our 6 year old son, for a road trip I had planned. They both loved it and were amazed by the wonderful car (They now want me to buy one!!). Great service

I've been a client of 3F EV for 3 years now and they have always been courteous, efficient and helpful. It's a great way to enjoy the latest Tesla cars.

I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Pros:
- Very efficient and friendly customer service. Had the car delivered to my home address with the driver taking time to run me through the car’s functionalities.
- The Model X I rented was configured to high specification.
- Amazing driving experience.

Cons:
- The overall condition of the car could have been better given the premium rental cost. One of the rear seats’ controls was broken and another had a defective seat belt.
- Interior cleanness.

Hiring a Tesla for a birthday treat was great fun. The car exceeded expectations and 3F EV made it all a very pleasant experience. Flexible, obliging, helpful. What more could you ask for?

Amazing experience with a black Tesla S90 D. The team was very professional, helpful and patient with my no Tesla driving experience.
