Very strange experience- W176 kit bundle

Ordered a W176 bundle for my daughter’s car on the 8th July. All seemed good and even got a discount code for future purchase. Unfortunately on the 13th July at 22:30 (gotta admire their commitment that’s late working to be fair), I got an email from Callum advising that the bundle I ordered was damaged and could not be sent. It was also the last one and I could contact for options.

I checked on the website and it did appear the bundle was out of stock, but the individual items (3 of them) that made up the bundle were still available to purchase, albeit at a higher cost. I emailed to let them know I could see that the items were on sale (included screenshots) and asked for options.

I didn’t hear anything until the 16th July and it was a notification from my bank that the refund had been processed. Callum followed up to let me know he had refunded and that there was an issue with BT stopping calls going through.

Overall a disappointing experience and unfortunate as the 3 cars in the household are all going through mods. The refund was quick but it seemed to me that it was a quick cost cutting exercise. The items were all still on sale, so technically available, I would have covered the additional cost if given the opportunity but that wasn’t offered.

Hopefully an oversight due to workload but I went to an alternative retailer for the kit due to the experience.

Firstly Clinton, I apologise that the experience is not what you were hoping for. We quality control check every item before they leave our warehouse and it was during this check that the damaged was noticed. A proceedure I am personally pleased we follow as it then avoids customers receiving goods which are damaged.

You're correct in saying that sadly we did face a brief loss to our phone lines for a couple of days as a direct result of BT works in the local area, hence why our team was working exceptional hours to update you on your order. Issues which I'm pleased to report are now sorted.

The bundle is offered at a discounted rate to that of the parts when sold separately, hence the price difference. Once our system had updated that we were out of stock, all listings (inc bundles) was populated to show this accordingly. I would like to thank you for shopping with 2xcite and apologise for any inconvience caused.

headlights from 2exite

Bought headlights from 2exite after 2 months one became faulty and after a few emails back and forward now no reply. Which is sad as I really liked the headlights! I should have stuck to the original lights with no problems

Looking back through email exchanges, it appears you were having issues with one of the bulbs, this could be a direct result of the bulb itself instead of the headlights being faulty. However, you have a full 12 month warranty which we are more than happy to look into with you. It also appears that we have had no further emails from you since we agreed to replace the faulty unit under the 12 warranty we offer. Well priced product with fitment as advertised. Product arrived but had problems with an incorrectly labelled package. 2xcite coordinated the exchange for pickup and promptly sent me my correct order. Highly recommend them. Thank you

The headlights came the next day so…

The headlights came the next day so that’s a bonus. Packaged really well too! Only downfall is I now have to find someone that can code the cornering lights out as they have no wiring to plug them in( there is a bulb holder and a lens but no wiring. Silly if you ask me ) I’m also experiencing slight condensation too
